“The bed's too big without you

The cold wind blows right through that open door

I can't sleep with your memory

Dreaming dreams of what used to be

When she left I was cold inside

That look on my face was just pride

No regrets, no love, no tears

Living on my own was the least of my fears

The bed's too big without you” - Sting

Another picture disc i have by the Police with 2 songs, one on each side. "De do do do de da da da" and "Don`t Stand So Close to Me". Purchased back in April of 1983. This one is in great condition actually.

Actually found some time to download some stuff off my cameras. A shot I took of Sting at Bedford Park in England. Was so not disappointed with the show, he was superb.

(Title from the 2nd Album of The Police)

The evening spreads itself across the sky. From Wybellina Hill above Little Swanport Lagoon on Tassie's east coast.

Went up the hill to watch/photograph the MWC rise over the Tasman Sea (behind me) but there was too much onshore clag and couldn't see a thing.

This one taken on the way back down the hill. The accommodation being those warm lights in the immediate lower centre.

Orion the constellation (upside down for northern types) just above the horizon in the centre. Think that bright star also in the middle might be Sirius?

NOT a shot for viewing on the shoe-phone...

I see you've sent my letters back

And my L.P. records and they're all scratched

I can't see the point in another day

When nobody listens to a word I say...

This ghost sign in downtown Nevada City, Ca. is pretty hard to decipher but one logo stands out - "Can't Bust Em Overalls"...

Founded in 1851, the Eloesser-Heynemann Company produced tough duds for the working man, and woman, with the “Union Made” monicker and rooster logo for its “Can’t Bust ‘Em” overalls…

Sunset tonight from the side of Strangford Lough looking across to Scrabo Tower. I liked how the sunset colours were reflecting through this discarded bottle :)

the future is but a question mark

hangs above my head there in the light

can't see for the darkness

is glaring me blind

god bid yesterday goodbye

for a great version of the real thing, the police

Giant steps are what you take

Walking on the moon

I hope my legs don't break

Walking on the moon

We could walk forever

Walking on the moon

We could be together

Walking on, walking on the moon...

Music is a very important part of my life and this is my little tribute to music. You have a bad day? No problem, you'll find shelter in music. Had an amazing day? Again, no problem, you'll find the perfect song to celebrate.

This photo was made for the CocaCola Louders campaign, I've also made a video to go along with this photo: youtu.be/yt8hAhOca3c

so close to me! I took this while on a photo walk with my class and I really liked the way it came out. The song just keeps popping in my head whenever I read this. Interesting how the words beyond this have disappeared... LoL!!

No changes to update for you all right now, but when I am able to I will let you know how my father is doing. Again, thank you all for your kind support during this time.

Have a great weekend my friends!

Every breath you take

And every move you make

Every bond you break, every step you take

I'll be watching you :)

Watch the The Police

This picture is for the group Macro Mondays and this week the theme is "Perfect Match".

This is both ends of the tubing that connects to my nebulizer and nebulizer cup. Albuterol (liquid ventolin) is put into the cup and then one end of the tube is attached to the bottom of the cup and the other end is attached to the nebulizer machine. When it is turned on, the air from the nebulizer (which is basically an air compressor) is forced through the tubing and turns the liquid in the cup into a fine mist that is inhaled. There is a number of liquid medications that can be used in a nebulizer for the treatment of lung diseases.

People with Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis and COPD (Emphysema and Bronchitis) use this type of treatment to get the medication deeper into their lungs which hopefully helps to make breathing easier.

Some camera phone snaps from section 228! I left the camera at home because I thought my view wasn't going to be good. I was wrong! From now on the camera goes with, regardless!

Edmonton Police Service has a very active and very successful helicopter program. Nice to see this "bird" at night keeping watch from on high.

The Police @ Bonnaroo - June 16 2007

Unfortunately, they were the most underwhelming act of the whole festival. I left about halfway through after 'Roxanne'.

Thank you very much for your kind comments 👍.

I was hoping you could help me decide what album to listen to. On the left is the Police Album Synchronicity and on the right is Dire Straits album Brothers in Arms. Both albums are great.

It's "80s Dance Night" down at the precinct, and tonight's selection is the fun and groovy pop reggae rock album "Zenyatta Mondatta" by The Police. This 1980 album hit Number 1 in the UK, and had several hits, including "Don't Stand So Close To Me" and "De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da," plus favorites of mine, "Canary In A Coalmine" and "Voices Inside My Head."

This is the third album from this trio of Sting (vocals and bass) Andy Summers (guitar) and Stewart Copeland (drums.) In the following three years, they would release two more albums, and become one of the biggest bands in the world, only to break up shortly after their 1983 tour.

Keep an eye on your handcuffed hooligans, pop a tape in the boombox, and dance to this groovy album.

Another in my series of Albums and Songs.

Shawn's away on a mini-vacation. He's in Vegas for some golf and poker. I always miss him when he's gone, even if I do enjoy having the house to myself; getting to just do whatever I want. Like today, I went on a trail run with Coco and then on a somewhat aimless drive looking for cool locations to take my selfie. It was just me, my dog and my camera. I could get totally lost in my thoughts and just let my imagination run. Sometimes alone time is good. Still, I do miss my guy.

Anyways, none of my 'on location' photos came out, but while I was driving, I heard this song and came up with the idea for this shot.
