This mesmerizing view from the city of Taif, located approximately 2000 meter above sea level. The city is blessed with beautiful mountain valley view enhancing the beauty of the landscape. The mountains here are solid rocky and the climate is pleasant throughout the year.
The visit was planned to take this photo but when the camera was ready to take photo the atmosphere got filled with beautiful white foggy clouds and nothing was visible after 5 meter of distance. It was disheartening and disappointing but later in night the sky got clear for very small period of time and this photo was taken.
Photography needs patience and patience gives you good result.

Kaster besitzt zwei Stadttore.
Kaster is a district of the town of Bedburg in the Rhein-Erft district in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Kaster has two city gates. If you come from the west in the old town of Kaster you will see the Agathator. In the east towards the Erft is the Erft Gate.
The Agathator, a square two-storey tower, was first mentioned in 1382 as "porzen". After that it appeared in documents as "Buschpfortz", "Veltportze" or "Agathen pfortz". The gate was not designed as a drawbridge, but it did have a portcullis. There used to be a ditch about 110 m wide in front of the gate, which was crossed with a bridge. In the middle of the bridge was a bastion (a closed fortification) with a city gate as an upstream defense unit (barbican facility).
Walking along the beach and in the streets of Valras-Plage.

Macro Mondays theme In Ice
A simple image of a frozen snow drop.
I experimented with various ideas until I gave I up. The trouble with ice is that it has a tendency to melt and by the time you get to a subject or composition that you like it's all over and gone.
After a few days of messing around and sad news coming in that my Godmother had been taken gravely ill with the virus, I found this solitary snow drop that I had frozen last week. It seemed quite apt under the circumstances.
This photo is dedicated to all those who have lost loved ones to this awful virus.

Lone vulture sitting in a Baobab tree on the safari ride at DAK's Africa section. The tree isn't real, but it makes a very interesting subject nonetheless.
Happy New Week to you. Make it safe and enjoyable one. This photo is from our garden in 2010.
Thank you for your faves and comments.

The History of Green Tea
The history of green tea dates back over 4,000 years to China, where it is considered a precious beverage and a symbol of harmony between man and nature. After developing in China, green tea spread throughout Asia and the rest of the world.
Green tea gets its name from the preparation method used to prevent the tea leaves from undergoing excessive oxidation. Typically, the leaves are hand-picked and then quickly heated to stop the oxidation process. This is what keeps their natural green color and preserves the health benefits of green tea.
