Since I found out that the AX is actually more rare than the BX, I'm spotting those as well. This 5-door with the original wheel covers is above average what state concerns...

Constellation CF-TGE was delivered to Trans-Canada Air Lines in 1954 as a 1049C and was later converted to the 1049G standard. After a career flying passengers for TCA, and later cargo with World Wide Airways, the aircraft retired from flying in 1965. It sat in derelict condition for many years in different locations in Quebec and Ontario, Canada. It was partially restored and made into a museum during this period. Later, it was converted into a hotel cocktail lounge and lunch delicatessen at the Toronto airport during 1996-2002.

The Museum of Flight eventually acquired the aircraft in 2005. Following extensive restoration to its original appearance in TCA colors at Rome, New York, it was trucked to the Museum's main campus in Seattle in 2009.

Last week my son and I went to video-tape the private space collection of Steve Jurvetson at Future Ventures, bit.ly/3wt0MtW. I took some photos after the video session.

This instrument was made for the traverse gravimeter experiment (TGE) of the Apollo 17 mission. It was mounted on the Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV), and measured the relative gravity at a number of places around landing area. The photo shows the center piece that measured the gravity on the moon very accurately. The instrument is gold-plated. See more info on the gold-plated instrument at go.nasa.gov/3dygqeO. I processed a realistic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
