it is our perception that extends a flash moment of history to a slow motion film of approx. 80 so called years of life ... and we enjoy it as every single frame of a movie...every single frame... we just have to stop for a second and let it pass by.
Every moment we stop extends our life ...
The image was taken at the Jersey Shore, before the summer crowds. I was working on a composition that will include the lifeguard stand, when this dude walked right into my composition. Eventually I joined him on a mutual disconnect.

"S or Sea, Shark, Skull", Street Art Ghent, Belgium by Cee Pil.
Found some more info about him on internet:
"The whole work can be summarized in the letter S. Sea, Shark, Skull. Artist Cee Pil is a master of interweaving images. Usually he puts two animals together, this time it is a shark and a skull.
It is a temporary fact, because it adorns the scaffolding for the works on the Winter Circus. That is in full transformation. There will be a concert hall, offices and shops, but also catering establishments and terraces. The renovated building must be able to open in 2022."
Location: Lammerstraat, Ghent, Belgium
Mural: S or Sea, Shark, Skull
Artist: Cee Pil
Kariden Honden was built in 1639 to temporarily house the deified image of Tokagawa Ieyasu, the founder and first shōgun of the Tokugawa shogunate (also known as the Edo Period, from 1603-1868), while repairs were conducted on the main shrine of Nikkō Tōshō-gū.
Apparently, Ieyasu's grandson, Iemitsu thought enough of the shrine to keep it and expand the site with structures like this copper torii at the front approach. Now, nearly 400 years old, this is part of the 42 buildings in the greater Tōshō-gū 東照宮 UNESCO World Heritage site listing.
In three seasons, this bench entices you to linger and enjoy the view. Currently their offer remains unused.
When you notice your mental health declining, do one small thing that brings you peace. Take a shower, text a loved one, step outside. One little step is all you need to remind yourself that this is not permanent.

This week's theme for Mosaic Montage Monday was Temporary/Permanent. Autumn's beauty is fleeting, but Swans mate for life. HMMM!
