Johannesburg has somewhat surprised me in a good way. Prior to this trip, I have seen many tv programs which portrait pretty negative view of this city. There are definitely quite a number of poor areas around however their infastructure is better than i thought. People are striving hard yet generally friendly and cheerful too. I just felt i tend to stand out a bit more as i think being asian there is not really a common sight to begin with...well, its just me & my weird imagination lol!

West view of Telkom building in Semarang. The post-renovation look made the building more generic than local marble-filled facade, but Telkom has ruined its good look by adding red lines on left side of building. Also, the Telkomsel building is a true eyesore.
9 floors, year of construction not known.
Gedung Telkom Semarang dari sisi barat. Versi renovasinya masih lebih baik dari versi sebelumnya yang berlapis marmer. Dan Telkom telah menghancurkan keindahannya dengan garis merah. Suasana semakin berat dengan adanya Gedung Telkomsel yang desainnya buruk.
9 lantai, tahun pembangunan belum jelas.
..Pembangunan Gedung Sekolah Pariwisata...katanya!
