Tech Valley Nonprofit Business Council provided a program to examine how to capture the passion of an organization's people, and channel that energy in matters of advocacy. In particular, this program provided better understanding as to why nonprofits need to consider advocacy and the many forms it takes. Speakers included Alisa Costa, Advocacy and Public Relations Professional, Gerald J. Jennings, Partner, Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker LLP, Ross Levi, former Executive Director of Empire State Pride Agenda. A Food Truck & Technology Event in Downtown Orlando
Trucks & Tech is a mashup of two cultures that we love – foodies and techies. This is the only event around that combines discussion from leaders in the Central Florida tech community with top local food trucks to fill attendees’ minds and stomachs with the best of the best. For Trucks & Tech II: Trucktoberfest we have added a twist! This Oktoberfest themed event will feature German inspired food from each food truck, an all new Startup Alley, a costume contest and beer boots galore. So bring your lawn chairs, blankets and German spirit for a night of tech, food and fun.

This center opened in the mid 2000s and closed in 2019; it was originally Princess Lanes bowling alley, which was built and opened in 1960. It became Princess Anne Recreation Center in 1994 and The Parc (Princess Anne Convocation Center) in the late 1990s.
