Curt is definitely chill playing this tune while Doug Petty in the background looks to be enjoying playing his keyboard.
Curt definitivamente está bien tranquilo tocando esta canción mientras que Doug Petty en el fondo parece disfrutar de tocar su teclado.

All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places
Worn out faces
Bright and early for the daily races
Going no where
Going no where
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression
No expression
Hide my head I wanna drown my sorrow
No tomorrow
No tomorrow
(c) Roland Orzabal/Tears for Fears: Mad World

Exceptional original music video directed by Michel Gondry for this 2004 version of Roland Orzabal's magnificent song... (*Its not the 'Donnie Darko' clip btw)
Originally recorded in 1982 by Tears for Fears..

All around me are familiar faces, worn out places, worn out faces: Bright and early for their daily races; going nowhere. Going nowhere, their tears are filling up their glasses...
No expression, no expression: Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow, no tomorrow; no tomorrow.
I find it kind of funny - I find it kind of sad, the dreams in which I'm dying, are the best I've ever had. I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take when people run in circles, it's a very, very, Mad World.
Children waiting for the day they feel good, Happy Birthday! Happy birthday; made to feel the way that every child should, sit and listen; sit, and listen...
Went to school and I was very nervous, no one knew me, no one knew me.
Hello teacher, tell me what's my lesson? Look right through me, look right through me.
I find it kind of funny - I find it kind of sad, the dreams in which I'm dying, are the best I've ever had. I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take when people run in circles, it's a very, very, Mad World.

Few things bring me as much joy as that dusty, crackling -- yet so crisp -- sound of vinyl. There's a whole lot of memories in this trunk
Time may have grayed Roland's hair and left some wrinkles on his face, but his playing and his voice still sound youthful.
El tiempo pudo haber encanecido el cabello de Roland y dejado algunas arrugas en su rostro, pero su forma de tocar y su voz aún suenan juveniles.
It was obvious that Mr. Pettus has been collaborating with Tears for Fears for years because he played his parts perfectly. At times, his solos sounded just like the original recording.
Fue obvio que el Sr. Pettus ha colaborado con Tears for Fear desde hace muchos años porque tocó sus partes perfectamente. A veces, parecía que sus solos sonaran como la grabación original.
Using Tears For Fears' 80s classic for my final entry this month because - even after seventeen years - I'm still 'Head Over Heels' in love with this girl.

Currently I am feeling kind of head over heels about my life - in a good way. Beware that what I am about to type is waaaay sappy for many, but I feel like I love my family (of course!), my house, cooking, entertaining at home, scrapbooking, music, nature around me, the weather... Maybe I swalled a happy pill and I don't know it. Wait, I know, it is because I am still on vacation! Tomorrow, however, it is back to the grind time, so it will be a different story for sure :(
In the meantime, enjoy Tears For Fears and have a Happy Soundtrack Monday!

Any perception can connect us to reality properly and fully. …There is some principle of magic in everything, some living quality. Something living, something real is taking place in everything.
I should have called this picture "Droplets for every one!"
I "pre-exposed" the building for a minute or so, to make sure I got some detail before the fountains went up and then cut the exposure down from the estimated 30 minutes to 20 minutes.
