Lately it's been really foggy in the morning. :o Took this before school, and my mom got mad at me, haha.

This past Monday we headed down to San Diego for the Memorial Day ceremony at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. There was an American flag and a rose at each and every grave. It was chilly and there was a pretty heavy sea mist coming in off the Pacific leaving all of the roses covered in "tears from heaven."

Tomorrow it will be 1 year since I last held her hand.
I miss her voice, the way she would brush the hair out of my face and say "Such a shayna punim." It used to drive me crazy, her doing that...and now I would give anything for her to do it one more time.
There are no words to convey how I miss her, how the loss of her tugs at my emotions - I feel so much and nothing all at once.
