To-Do-List. Something that got me all hook up few years back.
I've tried various method of creating a TDL that will ease my way of working, but nothing beats Index Cards.
Its a lot more easier to carry, and the stiff surface makes it easier for me to pen my notes.
TDL 567K was new to Southern Vectis in January 1971 RELL-3-1629 www.flickr.com/photos/16819691@N08/8350500239/ www.flickr.com/photos/jncarter1962/2315145532/ It remained with them until March 1988 when it was passed via a dealer to Hylton Castle (Catch a Bus) of East Boldon. Seen here in South Shields town centre in the early 90's it was eventually sold onto North East Bus Breaker of Annfield Plain in October 1992. Bought directly by Blue Bus Services to become their 1822 it embarked on a major overhaul and rebuild. www.flickr.com/photos/56225636@N05/6637240699/ www.flickr.com/photos/10651736@N02/6284836453/ This was never completed following the acquisition of Busways by Stagecoach and it returned to North East Bus Breakers in a partially rebuilt state in May 1998.
Initially bought for preservation by Escrick Bus & Coach Preservation Group it was swapped fro GTX359N at Silver Star in 2002 but rebuilding was not completed and in December 2008 it was sold to Mike Gallagher for preservation. Its current location is not known
YFM 283K (RELL-3-1920) was new to Crosville in May 1973 it became part of Crosville Wales in 1986 before being withdrawn in May 1988.
Purchased by Hylton Castle (Catch a Bus) or East Boldon in the same month operating in Crosville livery for a while www.flickr.com/photos/10651736@N02/5966682356/ . It is seen here at the Catch a Bus depot in East Boldonin the early 1990's. When Catch a Bus ceased operation in August 1997 it passed via dealers before being initially preserved and restored to its NBC dual purpose livery www.flickr.com/photos/bristol-re/2599699453/in/photostream/ . It was sold on in 2007 and became a mobile home initially in Great Missenden but most recently (2012) in Sidmouth.
