TAOS PUEBLO - TAOS NEW MEXICO
When walking around the pueblo one notices the colorful doorways and windows against the uniform adobe walls. Most are blue, but there are reds, blacks, browns and multicolor also. I asked a resident of the pueblo if there was a significance to the colors. She stated the dominant use of the blue color dates back to the time of contact with Spanish settlers. During the native people's conversion to Catholicism, the Spanish Missionaries said the blue color would help protect their homes from evil.

Visited Taos Pueblo again -- I sometimes stop by there when going to Santa Fe, New Mexico. It's a very interesting (and very old) community of Native Americans.

In cima alla salita, dalle tre pagode, si giunge al tempio Tao. Si tratta di un edificio abbastanza moderno, costruito comunque nell'architettura tradizionale.

A Tao, y con él a todos los animales maltratados por descerebrados que hacen incluso comercio de ello. La maldad “humana” no tiene límite.
En el seu estudi sobre "paral·lels i meridians", Don Guillermo Sheridan -celebrat poeta mexicà- conclou que un fill de puta, ho és a perpetuïtat. Perquè aquesta expressió pugui considerar-se com un delicte d'injúries ha de produir-se el pronunciament d'un jutge/ssa. Si “su señoria” descarta el "animus injuriandi" afirmarem sense cap error que la persona a qui ens referim mostra una evident mala conducta. En l'ampli cens de persones amb tal qualificatiu ocupen un lloc destacat els organitzadors de baralles de gossos. Aquesta gentussa basa el seu negoci en el benefici de les apostes que altres fills de puta fan per veure com un animal és capaç de matar a un altre. Com sempre és una baralla desigual i els guanyadors ho són, gràcies al sacrifici d'un gran nombre de congèneres que ha estat entrenats com a víctimes. Doncs això a perpetuïtat.

This remarkable adobe settlement offers a glimpse into the rich roots and traditions of the Taos people. The multi-story adobe buildings, some dating back over 1,000 years, stand as a testament to their history and is a community where direct descendants of the original inhabitants still reside, preserving their heritage.
Taos Pueblo is the only living Native American community designated both as a National Historic Landmark and a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The Taos Plateau volcanic field is an area of extensive volcanism in Taos County, New Mexico, United States. It is the second largest volcanic field in the Rio Grande Rift, spreading over 7,000 km. The age of most of the vents and associated lava flows in the field is estimated to be between 1.8 and 4 million years, with a few 22-million-year-old vents. The composition of the lavas varies from tholeiitic basalt to rhyolite. Landforms include sheet flows, cinder cones, and shield volcanoes. The sheet flows are well-exposed in the Rio Grande Gorge carved by the Rio Grande. The highest point of the field is San Antonio Mountain at 10,908 feet (3,325 m).-WIKIPEDIA
