Lady Samurai Kaori Kawabuchi performed a breathtaking sword dance with Hiroyuki Miyazono and Kenta Aida in this scenery.

With the longest bill relative to body size of any bird in the world, this insane hummingbird makes the top of the "most wanted" list for most people. It occurs at high elevations above 8,000 feet in the Andes Mountains from Venezuela to Bolivia, where it feeds on deep tubular flowers. Hacienda El Bosque, Colombia

The Sword-billed Hummingbird is a charismatic species from Andean South America. It is found from Venezuela and Colombia in the north to Bolivia in the south. The species belongs to a monotypic genus, Ensifera, and is quite different from all other hummingbirds; metallic green and bronzed overall, with a black bill that is slightly upcurved and longer than the body length. This is the only bird species with a bill length that exceeds the body length. When seen perched, the species usually holds its bill quite upright, presumably because of balance issues stemming from this long and relatively heavy structure.

The "Stadttor" (translated: 'City Gate') is a 20-storey high-rise building in Düsseldorf, Germany. The building was designed by Düsseldorf-based architecture firm Petzinka Pink und Partner and completed in 1998.
The two sides of the building show different structures due to the reflection of the sun.

Венчая храмов возвеличенные лики,

Истории сюжеты многоликой.
Горят златые купола,
Отбрасывая солнечные блики,
Отображая словно в зеркалах,
Суровую судьбу страны великой.
Нелёгкую историю славян,
Их витязей на поле брани алые туники,
Что насмерть бились родину храня,
Обороняя Русь от посягательств степи дикой.
От полчищ иноземных басурман,
С мечом пришедших на бескрайние просторы,
И прочих изворотливых тиран,
Творящих разоренье и раздоры.
Но не исчезла и не растворилась Русь
В пределах бесконечных мирозданья,
И сохранила память на века
О подвигах великих и завоеваньях.
И не потухли золотые купола,
Не стёрлись храмов возвеличенные лики,
И отражается в них словно в зеркалах
Суровая история страны великой.
И незачем хвалить и так великую страну,
Она сама заявит о себе как надо,
Но забывать историю не стоит никому,
Да и мечи из ножен тоже доставать не надо.

Golden domes are burning,
Casting off the sun 's glare,
Displaying as if in mirrors,
The harsh fate of a great country.
The difficult history of the Slavs,
Their knights on the battlefield scarlet tunics,
That they fought to the death keeping the motherland,
Defending Russia from the encroachments of the wild steppe.
From the hordes of foreign basurman,
With the sword of those who came to the boundless expanses,
And other quirky tyrants,
Creating ruin and strife.
But Russia did not disappear and did not dissolve
Within the infinite universe,
And preserved the memory for centuries
About the exploits of the great and conquests.
And the golden domes did not go out,
The exalted faces of the temples have not been erased,
And reflected in them as if in mirrors
The harsh history of a great country.
And there is no need to praise an already great country,
She will declare herself properly,
But no one should forget history,
And you don't need to take swords out of their scabbards either.

One of the most incredible species of hummingbird out there. We love that we get to see it on a number of our different bird photography expeditions in South America.

Gladiolus, also referred to Sword Lily associated with the Ancient Rome gladiators. They traditionally symbolize strength and honor offered as a gift, symbolize love at first sight. or piecing of the heart.

The Legend of Loch Sword has it that when Robert the Bruce of Scotland was fleeing the English troops pursuing him, he ordered all his men's heavy weapons be tossed into this small loch to lighten their load. A day later the two armies met in battle only a mile from this spot, and despite being only lightly armed, the Scots routed the English. Featured locomotive (Pocket Rocket) 76079 running this day as 76001!

Gladiolus (from Latin, the diminutive of gladius, a sword) is a genus of perennial cormous flowering plants in the iris family (Iridaceae).
It is sometimes called the 'sword lily', but is usually called by its generic name (plural gladioli).
The genus occurs in Asia, Mediterranean Europe, South Africa, and tropical Africa. The center of diversity is in the Cape Floristic Region. The genera Acidanthera, Anomalesia, Homoglossum, and Oenostachys, formerly considered distinct, are now included in Gladiolus.
[Ecuador 2021] In a remarkable feat of evolutionary adaptation, the Swordbill's exaggerated bill is perfectly suited for the long flowers of the passion vines. Zuro Loma.
