Street photography in Zurich, Switzerland. The main station in Zurich is one of the best spots for street photography. In this picture I love the lines forming a horizontal pattern.

Street photography in Zurich, Switzerland. I really like the hard light of the view upwards. And then the prominent clock and the silhouette of the two persons.

Street photography in Zurich, Switzerland. I really like this overpass bridge when it drops shadows in the sun. Combining this with an ultra-wide lens and two great subjects (even carrying their dog) and you have an amazing picture.

Street photography in Zurich, Switzerland. This is actually a train station. But with the super wide lens it rather looks like a church. I love how the light is playing here.

Street photography in Zurich, Switzerland. I like the light and show of this scene, especially the sun on the dashboard and the person.

Street photography in Zurich, Switzerland. A very funny moment at the Zurich main station. One person is looking towards the advertisement with the bright word sun (German: Sonne). The other is observing him.

Street photography in Zurich, Switzerland. Normally the Paradeplatz is too busy for taking a good shot. But if you are early enough it is really great. The round structure of the tram station is amazing. I also like the reflection in mirror of the ticket selling point.

Street photography in St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Late in the evening, the Stadthaus Zürich, the Fraumünster, the Münsterbrücke and other buildings are reflected in the calmly flowing Limmat.

The photo was taken from the opposite Limmatquai. A fortunately firmly anchored jetty protrudes into the Limmat and served as a platform for the tripod and me. The long exposure time of course helps to enhance the reflection of the beautiful buildings.

Thanks for your criticism and as always, favs, likes and comments are gratefully appreciated!

Street photography in Chur, Switzerland. I like the architecture of the Bündner Kunstmuseum. I like the contrast of the strict pattern of the architecture and the walking person.

A very minimalistic shot of an arriving train at the Zurich main station. I like how the train is “flowing” into the logo of the SBB in the background.

Street photography in Zurich, Switzerland. A really funny reflection. Will she got hit by him?

Street photography in St. Gallen, Switzerland. This time I decided to deviate from my usual practice of taking black and white and focused on color photos.

Rather a cityscape than a street photo. But I really like the colors in the picture. The red square in St. Gallen is an amazing place for taking urban shots.

This lonely you only get at the Zurich main station throughout Corona. I like the emptiness, the space and repeating pattern. And at least one traveler is around. Street photography in Zurich, Switzerland.

Street photography in Zurich, Switzerland. I used high key processing for this image. I like the clean and empty look of this train station are of the Zürich HB.

Beware! Driving through the country roads in Switzerland, you may experience many cows and farm animals wondering on the main roads. The swiss farmers don't fence many pastures in, so the cows can graze on both sides of the roads in the country.

Moritzburg Schloss, Saxony (Germany), the beautiful castle in the town of Moritzburg which is not far from Dresden that traveler can get here with public transport.I came here in a cloudy day, anyway, the still water and colorful foreground made me not difficult to capture this shot.

This is a meal in itself. Called a Wurclette, i.e. chopped up sausage (Wurst) on a thick slice of brown bread, topped with a dash of white wine and melted raclette cheese and a sprinkle of paprika powder.

It might not look like much here, from my cameraphone, but it was extremely filling and absolutely delicious :-D
