This was taken at Camber Sands on the Sussex coast near Rye. The textures and patterns of the sand caught my eye. Added the sepia tone in PS.
Oh, baby, do it again and again
I can hear nothing
Windswept is the sand
Oh, baby, oh show me more
I can see nothing
Windswept is the shore
Heatwave to nightshade
Oh I'm feeling swept away
Oh I'm
Oh I'm swept away
Oh I'm
Oh, baby, don't leave me there
With a low whisper
Windswept in the air
You say it's nothing
But a game to play
Oh I'm feeling swept away
Slow, baby, you can take your time
I can hear nothing
Windswept is the tide
A feeling only or a state of mind
Gonna take me high, mama
Mama, take me high
Oh I'm swept away
Oh, baby
Oh I'm swept away
Oh, baby
Oh I'm swept away
Oh, baby
Oh I'm swept away
Oh, baby
Oh I'm swept away
*my own pose... :) thank you so much dear ♥Shelly♥ for allowed me to work is this amazing SIM! ❤ hugssss
Myself and Daniel did a photoshoot this afternoon of some new horses around the corner from home. They belong to travellers who are working with a fairground in our area. We were delighted to see that they were loose in the public walkways so we were able to get up close and personal to them. Excited wasn’t the word.
On a windswept hill by a billowing sea, my destiny sits and waits for me.

Thank you for posing Taboo
Un léger vent balayait la neige, l'environnement tout entier semblait flotter comme dans un nuage.
~~~~~~~
A light wind swept the snow, the whole environment seemed to float like a cloud.
Bonne journée !
Have a nice day my flickr friends!
Take a gorgeous model, add an amazing gown and drop her in the field of gold on Whimberly and this is the result.
I know it's not my usual photo, but I hope you enjoy it.
Roseate Spoonbills always attract attention when they show up. Their bill has touch receptors and snaps down upon contact as they sweep in back and forth through the water. (Platalea ajaja)
A female Kingfisher positions herself over the water watching for small fish. Amazing she didn't fly away, I do believe they are more tolerant of people in boats.
A sudden wind brushes off the top layer of a dune as I happen to snap a picture of the scenery. It's truly wonderful how Nature can behave in the most convenient of times. That being said, it can and will almost certainly always find balance in another way, as suddenly I found my lens invaded by specks of sand. Nature gives and takes, and I am willing to accept that.
A red-winged blackbird has it's feathers parted by a stiff wind. One of many stories blowing around daily at the San Louis National Wildlife Refuge.
Fine lines in White Rim sandstone mark ancient layers of cemented sand deposits, guiding the eye into the canyon of Soda Springs Basin and Stillwater Canyon of the Green River, with snow-obscured buttes of the Maze District of Canyonlands in the background.
A simple composed shot taken with the intent to capture the light and blowing snow across the frame.
I thank you for the visits and comments and wish you all a fine day!
Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado.
Another shot from the camping trip earlier this week.
Single RAW exposure. Used a hard 2-stop neutral density filter for the sky and a circular polarizer. Waited for the sun to be brightest on the grassy sand dune in the foreground. Took close to 30 images until the lighting was right. Post-processed in Adobe Lightroom.
Seaweed flowing around the rocks on the shores of Cullen on a stormy day over the Moray Firth in Scotland.
Have a blessed and beautiful day and thank you for stopping by!
35mph winds create blowing snow over this country road. It always amazes me how different "winter" can be out in the country compared to where I live (an hour east of this location). By me, it barely looks like winter. Out here, is another story. I love it!!
A Tumultuous Mystical Past - The Cistern Of The Mists by Daniel Arrhakis (2021)
With the music : Audiomachine - The Fountain of Consciousness (Extended Version)
However in Krudhyn, several thousands years later, in an ancient cave, a mysterious lady with a long blue cloak watches in silence while looking at that rocky, grim and mysterious scenery for a long time. The silence was only interrupted by drops of water that swept from the ceiling and stalactites of the cave.
Her eyes roam the seaweed colored walls and ancient sculptures featuring an Hormath (*), a hybrid creature similar to a winged lion but with goat horns and a dragon's tail and wings.
Old beings from other times that did not exist now in Krudhyn, although some claimed to still exist in the most endearing woods and mountains in the kingdom.
A wet and cold sensation ran through her body as if it were a shiver, but in her case it made her feel comforted.
Since she was young she was attracted to those lugubrious and mysterious environments. In the center flanked by Columns carved in the stone were a circular ground well in the place of an old geyser that periodically gushes water and steam.
The Cistern of Mists was moreover famous for its waters since immemorial times but also for its legends that reverted to the times of the reign of the Underworld Queen, Ahrghylla a Queen Goddess of ancient times and who, according to the legend, was killed in that place by one of the first warrior monks.
While her eyes rest for a long time on the sculpture that reminded a Hormath (*) , a snake crossed the waters right in front of her.
"After all it is true! The snakes have returned to the old cistern ..." - she thought loud as she came closer to see, after all she was never afraid of snakes, on the contrary they exercised on her an unparalleled fascination.
It was the first time in a long period that snakes reappeared in that place as a harbinger of an ancient prophecy "When the Black Snakes appear again in the Old Cistern, the Queen of the Underworld will return ". After all, the rumors were true, the snakes had really returned to that place ...
(*) Hormath : is a term used in Krudhyn to describe a Chimera, a monstrous hybrid creature composed of the parts of more than one animal.
Hormaths spit fire and have the ability to fly.
