Yes, that is bacon on a maple bar; it is what they would call the maple-bacon bar. You may also notice Kellogg's Fruit Loops and Post Cereal's Cinnamon Toast Crunch, strategically settled on their own spherical-delights.
This is what a PWO inevitably leads to; replenishing the glycogen stores, spiking that insulin for salutary results. I suppose you can say that I Doughnut care too much about counting calories when a selection like this is provided.
It still surprises me to how much one can get away with by adopting ultra-low-carb sources of sustenance for the majority of the week. Add a few days of resistance training or HIIT and you can get away with even more.
Tomorrow's agenda, triathlon; cycling; swimming; and tennis... then likely, even more donuts.

These chocolate chips look like snow seals on a wintery beach.
For this weekend I decided to bake some mini cupcakes: they are yummy and you can eat them in one single bite - even though I do not do this, :D.
Since the afternoon was a bit boring, I also decided to watch one of my favourite films. Do you have one of those films that you know the lines by heart but still get excited when things are starting to happen? I do, and mine is "Notting Hill". I remember when I was in London strolling the neighbourhood and feeling as if I was in the film!! ;)

As usual it's time to look back and take stock of what I've done in the past twelve months.
Alongside the traditional buildings of MOCs this year I submitted two builds on the LEGO Ideas platform: the A-Frame Cabin in spring, that reached 10,000 votes in 42 days (!), and a few weeks ago the Santa's Cottage which is currently gathering supports (if you haven't yet please support). It was, and it is, a very fun experience and now I'm waiting for the review result for my A-Frame Cabin. Fingers crossed...
I wanted to build more but unfortunately I had to face many personal issues that limited my free time.
Thanks to those who supported, "faved", shared my builds and also made constructive critiques.
Thanks to all the great builders out there who are a big source of inspiration.
Also a big thank you to all the blogs and magazines that featured my works in 2021.

This Christmas cookie was being served at our Christmas work meal called "Grazing Day" The entire staff brings a a dish for a giant potluck meal.
I used today's topic as an excuse to pick up a treat from the bakery. I can't wait to sink my teeth into it!

Flit knew she shouldn't have gone to the slums today, it was in the air, you could hear it - the yelling over car horns. However, today she needed a new power-converter and she sure as hell wasn't making the trip to Toshe to get it, she would have to travel to the wrong side of town.
She passes through the first leg of the goondocks and past the Bodagus before she hears the click of the first bullet entering a chamber, followed by a second. Having no time to react... she hears the loud PING of coils and metal splintering all around her.
Well there goes the rest of her arm, it was just hanging by a thread anyway...
