I went to the LookingGlass theater in downtown Chicago today and got my mind blown into a million little pieces by the artistic, dare devil, five person cast of ALICE. I recommend this show to any human being who enjoys brilliant theater and a good jump out of your seat.
I enjoyed watching this man and his son on the beach at sunset :)

I wasn't satisfied with the result much but it was really hard to get a sweet capture for them they where playing with that pink frame & moving around & I guess that was the best one plus I loved their expressions here ...

This is one of thousands shots I’ve made of my 3year old boy Alex .... Preparing and cutting all those hearts and sticking them to a wall was such a great fun for him ... And after all his effort I’ve just wanted one goofy smile, as he does it all the time.. But no, he was so serious. I couldn’t believe it! Now he wants to pose for me like he’s an adult. He keeps saying all the time ...mum... I'm the man !!! I'm the man !

For 10 days I have been travelling through the cold Baltic states, connecting the three capitals of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania: Medieval Tallinn, Art Nouveau Riga and Baroque Vilnius.
As always, the first job after returning from a trip is to sift through the pictures, making a selection for editing, while nibbling on these delightful sweets I brought from Tallinn.
One of Tallinn's best restaurants is Olde Hansa, a historically accurate medieval feasting venue. Across the Old Town, you can also find their huge-wheeled carts, grilling and selling sweet-n-spicy almonds, following an ancient recipe.
First upload with my new Canon 50mm 1.8 lens. Look out for more ;-)

*I'm thinking about doing a print give away. I've never done one before and I think it's time I did. Would you all be interested? :) It's just a matter of when. I've been thinking of doing one for the holidays, but because everything's a bit busy, I might wait till...New Years? Or maybe when I hit 10,000 views? :D I DON'T KNOW but I'm excited because I talked to my dad today about doing one and he sounded like it would be okay... so :D
* I found a film camera! It's a Chinon 38-? mm, but I don't know how it is in terms of quality, so I might just buy the one I learned to use a few years ago. I'm so excited! I love film, it has such a warm quality about it <3

This strawberry was huge! Almost as big as the palm of my hand. And, Ant ate the model right after the photoshoot.... Lol.
I have a couple more fruits in mind for macros, but am happy to take ideas, if there are particulars you'd like to see in this 'fruit salad'.

Wow I'm finally posting again. I haven't posted for such a long time I got kicked out of the group!! lol But I asked REAL nice to rejoin and Yvonne gave me a second chance. The kids go back to school on Monday so my life will finally go back to normal haha. It's nice with school holidays, but it's even nicer when they are over!
