A new year, another 52 weeks project. Still continuing with the same lifestyle project group Paint the Moon. Our first theme of the year is "Balance",
Today's weather is very messy. It rain all day. Everything froze making the roads very slippery. It was hard to keep your balance. E and N on the street in front of our house skating.
Katie and I went hiking around yesterday and the colors were so beautiful. I also bought a Pentax 50mm lens from the thrift store and I'm super duper excited to get an adapter and try that baby out.

The leaves of this red maple tree have changed from green to vivid yellow as the chlorophyll retreats from autumn’s cooling temperatures. This is from the first batch of photos taken through the SMC Takumar 55mm f2.0 I just picked up. This marks my entry into the world of M42 mount lenses and I’m excited to see where things go from here! Hard to beat results like this for $30.
