This is the inspiration mosaic I made for my partner in the Mouthy Stitches Round 2 Swap.
In case you can't tell, partner, I have recently developed a tiny obsession with texty fabric. Add on a bright rainbow colour scheme and you can't go wrong. Throw in some fun appliqué or quirky paper piecing and I'll bake you cookies! :)

Made for Scrappy Pincushion Swap. I took the idea for the separate attached needle tab from another swapper, and now can't find it to thank her for the great idea!
A wee nest I made for my swap partner Alice. I included a little egg that had impatiens seeds planted in it. I hope it grows.

Remote vs in-person
Although I first started swapping clothing remotely, I now do it pretty regularly in person. I hold a clothing swap a few times a year. It’s so much fun!
From 2008-2011, I was an active member of Flickr’s Wardrobe Swap Shop. It has since become inactive, but I still have a few things from the group, including this green jacket.

OMG!!!! Squeeeeeaaal!!!! Look what I got in the post this morning. An amazing package from Kirsten67. A fab double sided sewing machine cover, warm cool mini quilt and little fabric basket matching the cover. I'm over the moon, this is so up my street, I absolutely love it!

The ornaments are finally done! I call them "pocket ornaments" (I don't know.. I just LOVE pockets!) Patched together screenprinted and block printed fabric and mounted them onto the embroidery hoops.
I had made the red white and blue scissors, but I think these are more my partners tastes hopefully... A little rainbow'ish fob!
Silort and I decided to swap wonky, bright houses on white backgrounds... I made the castle block for her and one for myself. When we're done, we'll have 24 wonky house/tree blocks! They are 4 inches finished, 4 1/2 inches unfinished. I designed this pattern! Here is a link to my blog and a free pattern! The old heels were worn down too low for this pair of boots. I had some tattered but usable heels to swap in.
Received the MOST wonderful packaged from Vickey (Ginger Snaps Quilts)! I was so excited to receive these pillows! They're amazing and look awesome in the sunroom!!! The workmanship is incredible, and Vickey is an excellent stalker, the seed packets are so adorable, and I will plant them soon!!!
