Thank you in Advance for your kind ‘Faves’ and visits they are so very much appreciated.

I cannot always ‘Thank’ everyone individually, for their visits and ‘Faves’ however, I will always try to respond and thank all those that leave a ‘Comment’.

Your 'Comments' do not always appear in 'Notifications' or Flickr mail, so, I am sorry for any delay in responding. Often your 'Comment' is only spotted 'On the Page' on the day, that I see it. (seen ONLY when replying to someone HAS 'Commented' on the image)

Getting some air in Angel Fire's terrain park.

Sutton on Sea beach looking South from Bohemia Promenade.

Diggers working on sea defences at Sutton on Sea, this area was badly hit by the storm surge in 1953.

Sutton Staithe was a very pleasant place to stop, have a meal and a pint and then do a spot of fishing, even though I lay awake half the night thinking "how the hell am I going to get this huge bloody boat turned round in this narrow channel?" I was replaying the manoeuvre again and again and then when it came to the morning and time to go I managed to get the boat turned round fairly easily. This was the only real chance of a landscape photograph, as the overcast weather moved in until late the following morning, by which time we were motoring along nicely on the River Bure and I truly believed I was Admiral Nelson (but with two arms).

Well Known Walk in the Village

Merseyrail 508130 arrives at the village of Little Sutton at the southern end of the Wirral Peninsula with the 10.42 Ellesmere Port - Liverpool Loop - Ellesmere Port service.

Little Sutton became part of Merseyrail in 1994 when the line was electrified from the juncton at Hooton to Ellesmere Port.

Ignore the EXIF info listed... the sky was actually a 30 exposure with the 10 stop filter... but I layered it onto the 1/4s exposure for the ground, without the filter, to make sure things were as sharp as possible.

'Grid' no. 56028 heads north with a rather short car train. I was quite surprised to see a Grid on this. At the time they were largely to be seen on Didcot mgr workings.
