Our focus this year is on reservoir maintenance. Reservoirs play numerous roles, including supplying irrigation and drinking water, generating hydropower, and aiding in flood control. Sadly, many of these reservoirs are in a state of disrepair, leading to a multitude of problems. Watermaster, with its easy transportability, independent mobility, and high versatility, offers solutions to the many challenges faced by aging reservoirs worldwide. This is not an advertisement for this product. It is an example to prove my point that non mechanized solutions are possible. / These sweepers were more common many, many years ago. The salesman here at the fair showed me how it works. No electricity, no petrol no gasoline is necessary. It works ! /Have you ever thought that life without gasoline /petrol /oil will mean a loss of comfort. I don't think so. When I shudder to think of those machines they use now to collect leaves, they are SO noisy. The whole neighbourhood suffers. Besides the CO2 emissions. So, in this case I'm all for: back to the old times. These machines propelled by human muscle power work perfectly well. O.K. you have to empty the container a few times. the only part which is not consistent to post-petroleum times is the plastic housing material. Because plastics come from oil. I guess it could be made of wood instead.
