Conference held at Gisambai on 16 August 2014 to promote sustainable development in the villages of Vihiga County. The conference theme was the proposed Sustainable Development Goals [SDGs] [2015-2030]. The conference was organized by Community Foundation Western Province [COFWE} under the program Open County Governance[OCG]. The OCG program manager is Albert Kenyani Inima. The program is sponsored by World Justice Project [WJP]. The mission of WJP is to promote the rule of law worldwide. The mission of COFWE is to promote sustainable development in western Kenya.

The conference was organized by Community Foundation Western Province [COFWE] with funding from the World Justice Project [WJP]. The mission of WJP is to promote the rule of law world-wide. COFWE works to promote sustainable development in western Kenya.
