The Standard Test Method for Shock-Absorbing Properties of Playing Surface Systems and Materials (ASTM F1936-98 American Football Field) testing locations and procedure were preformed. The tests were performed using a Triax 2000 A-1 Missile, tripod mounted Gmax registration unit(www.triax2000.com). This report presents background information on the test procedures, existing conditions, test results and observations in football, baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey artificial sports fields.

   

The environmental impact of a green roof is undenyable, and adds significantly to the LEED Point system designed by the USGC in all five major areas: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality. Concept

This house is designed for the all in one individual who requires an all in one home. The house and the inhabitant seek a direct relationship based on flexibility and thus, on functional modules. It is the sum of individuals that invokes us into a new being, and this is what we take use as our model of the contemporary inhabitant.

 

URbanite, Cosmopolitan, aMbitious individual, dilettante, immigrANT

 

The envelopment

This envelopment, its third skin, provides the home with all the basic and essential needs for its operation, with the knowledge that the skin is an organ essential to life and exchange, contact and relationship with the environment, dedicated to collection, protection, circulation and respiration. It is the basis of the project, the conceptual idea, the structural argument and the support of all the bioclimatic and energy systems that we will use.

 

From its concept of total integration, the prototype answers an architectural problem with a very unique solution. A succession of associated layers, filters and artificial atmospheres provide living conditions for the house, and thus protect the Urcomante.

 

The inside of the house accommodates the various activities of its inhabitants (storage, projection, relaxation, etc.). The installations and support systems are located in its third skin, which optimizes their performance, and improves the architectural integration of the solar systems.

 

The outer layer captures solar energy and protects the inhabitants. This envelopment acts as a passive/active thermal collector and photovoltaic system. It has an inclined shape, which optimizes solar capture and eases the collection of water.

 

Interior design

The interior is a well-lit, multi-functional and transformable space. It is the social area of the Urcomante. This is where the functional models are used, as theyve been designed to be a changeable and adaptable space for the end-users of the building. The individual can carry out their private functions in these modules.

 

The house includes a bedroom-study, bathroom and a kitchen. Formally they are created as parallelepipeds, in which one of the interior sides can be moved around and connected to the large and central multipurpose space. Depending on needs, the parallelepipeds can be opened or closed to create different functional configurations.
