This week's them of the Smile on Saturday group is "Iridescent". The only object with iridescent colours I could think of was this peacock feather which is actually a toy and belongs to my cats. I added the teddy bear for a certain cuteness factor and some other colours for additional interest. :) HSoS !
Looking at the strange scenery, she saw red butterflies illuminating the darkness.

Lake O'Hara is one of the best-preserved places in the Canadian Rockies. It sits high in the Canadian Rockies at an elevation of 2,020m (6,627 feet). It is a beautiful sub-alpine glacial lake surrounded by the towering peaks of the Canadian Rockies. There are so many accessible trails starting right from the lake, hikers can easily spend days here without getting bored. But 11-kilometer to the lake in one way from parking lot, you can either take the shuttle or hike in. If you are lucky to reserve the shuttle, you can spare this 22-kilometer walking, save the energy to climb 10~20 kilometers mountains. Access to Lake O’Hara is strictly controlled with a reservation system, which means that it is never crowded.
Luckily got camping reservation for 3 days, it was pure nature without cell signals and electricity. Unfortunately, it was raining and cloudy most of time, plus the forest fire from Jasper, the sky was covered with foggy most of time. Here is the view of Lake O'Hara and adjacent Mary Lake, the crystal-clear lakes, hanging valleys, towering snow-capped mountains, and the pristine nature that shows the best Yoho National Park has to offer.

The city Innenstadt is surrounded by a 3 kilometres (2 miles) long earthen wall which was constructed by a traveling master fortress builder named Andreas. The city council (Rat) of Duderstadt contracted with Andreas in 1506 to build the wall. Since the surrounding farmers were also to be protected by the wall, the Rat conscripted them to work on the construction of the wall. Andreas was reportedly a cruel taskmaster, and the farmers detested him. They soon also blamed the citizens of Duderstadt for their woes, and took to calling all of them "Anreischke", after Andreas, which was pronounced "Anreis" in the "platt" (low) German spoken by the farmers.
The citizens of Duderstadt, in turn, had a wooden bust of Andreas constructed and attached to a clockwork. Every two hours since then, the wooden "Anreischke" would come out and nod to the farmers coming to market, to remind them of the detested Andreas, and of their dependency on the city.
That wooden Anreischke nods until this day from the Rathaus tower at 9 am, 11, 1 pm, 3, 5 and 7.

Here I am again with another cute picture! This squirrel climbed on the reddish tree in St. James's park and so I had to photograph him, surrounded by autumn!

Everyone has a different idea of what represents 'peak color' during the autumn season. In my area I feel it achieves that special time between October 10-15 each year. This photograph was taken north of Harbor Springs, Michigan, in the small community Birchwood Farms.

Sunday morning around 11 a.m, by the frontside of the Leman lake. Between showers and low light, I have experienced some long exposure work and tried to catch this very serene but dramatic mood.

Let It Rain - Eric Clapton Live @ Royal Albert Hall 2015
The rain is falling through the mist of sorrow that surrounded me.
the sun could never thaw away the the bliss that lays around me.
Let it rain, let it rain,
let your love rain down on me.
let it rain, let it rain,
let it rain, rain, rain.
Her life was like a desert flower burning in the sun.
until i found the way to love, it's harder said than done.
...
Now i know the secret; there is nothing that i lack.
if i give my love to you, you'll surely give it back.
