In our childhood, most of us play in our backyards, the streets, amusement parks, pavilion, arcades and etc. But, when you're a son of a fisherman, the ocean is your playground.

a stunning blue lagoon nestled within a mountainside and protectively covered by a forest. Its dark tinge comes from the Pacific sea pouring in from a deep underwater.

They just RAN up these waterfall cascades!! I thought this is not real ... later we realized that the stones are actually not slippery at all. But then again, the falls were about 10 or 15 meters high, and super steep. All I say is that I didn't go up...

I think this is the main waterfall. There is still a third level but not as big as this one. We were lucky that it was raining before we went there, but it was still gloomy when I took the shot. Anyway, this is the best I can do. Till next time.

This is the bridge towards the boats which will bring you to islets there.

From where I am, weather is fine. Well, Singapore is one of the most livable cities in the world as natural calamity don't usually occur down here. In contrast, my homeland, the Philippines, is in a state of calamity again. Manila is flooded due to torrential rains for the last two days and thousands of people are affected by this event.

I’m uploading this image again as it reminds me of unpredictable weather and the subsequent inconveniences it brings. I shot this photo in the Philippines last year amid the rain on a supposedly typical, hot summer noon. Due to global warming, weather pattern is very strange and the Philippines which is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and South China Sea is no exception. Average typhoon per year is around 20 typhoons.

I’m praying for the safety of my family, my friends and fellow countrymen…I hope this torrid rainfall in the Philippines stops soon…

"Rain in Habag"

The person in this photo is a good friend of mine. He's a tattoo artist, a surfer, and a musician. He is organizing a wooden surfboard building workshop called "Back to the Woods". The workshop focuses on using basic local materials that will not require the use of electricity, as the proponents aim to produce unique, highly-durable and completely hand-crafted surfboards using free energy.
