Two scenes in particular, carved out of the walls of the temple of Kom Ombo. are frequently pointed out to tourists. This one is the 'surgical instruments' scene on a carved panel of decoration. Many instruments are recogniseable, spoons, calipers, a saw, pincers, a sponge, scales etc.
Description(Physical Details): Stainless steel gauze forceps with fenestrated handles. The forceps has two blades, attached with a screw, and is angled at the point where the two connect. Handles at proximal end are fenestrated to provide finger grips, and have teeth and a small indentation at the distal, seizing end.
