Surfing isn't that big in Thailand because the waves aren't especially big but Nai Harn beach seemed to be a local hotspot for the sport

Compilation of three shots of surf scoters in San Diego Bay, San Diego, California, USA. The surf scoter is a large sea duck, which breeds in Canada and Alaska. The genus name is derived from Ancient Greek melas "black" and netta "duck".

The seafront in Barcelona. This year has been particularly stormy thanks to Climate Change increasing the chance of more severe weather. While the surf is appreciated by some, it erodes Barcelona's artificial sands, necessitating their constant replacement.
La vita è come il surf, quando finisci nella zona d'impatto, bisogna rialzarsi, perchè non si sa mai cosa c'è dietro alla prossima onda e, se hai fede, tutto è possibile....
From the 2019 Archives, I found a file of this and other surfer images I had not processed nor posted; Morro Bay; CA; USA
A 300-mm view of the Atlantic surf and accompanying spray as it heads towards Trebarwith Strand on the north coast of Cornwall. A fairly straightforward image to process, involving some adjustments in contrast, clarity and highlights. Thanks for viewing.

The Beluga XL, which has to be the cutest plane ever despite its huge size, is designed to transport airplane parts from various European factories to Toulouse, its hometown. My city is close to Toulouse and often has the strongest winds in France, so our skies are frequently visited by the Beluga for training and tests flights. It is always fun to spot this giant, friendly flying whale circuling over our heads.

word soon gets around as to where the next wave is landing! We rarely see surfers on Dollar cove at Gunwalloe but this day it was the chosen spot for a few surfers. I expect the surf is well up in many parts around the UK with the storm thats blowing across the country right now. I hope you all survive unscathed, Alan:-) have a great W/end too………

The beach outside of Al Cielo Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
Tried to give it a bit of a cross processed look.
This is a little north of the previous photo of the movie site. I was worried about these guys, that surf was very dangerous.
Back to the Surf Scoters, just to mix it up a bit, it was nice to see one who finally achieved lift off. They are quite graceful once airborne. This was taken in Juneau.
