Having said that we will probably visit this beach in Florida at least once a year, to visit our grand daughter Adeline

Therefore cannot promise it will be the last, but the sky will be different

Not sure what this one is. It is the first to flower in the wild flower borders but all of the seeds I put in last year were from the USA.

If anyone knows the flower I would be happy to have it named.

Thanks to Robert Combes and Viv in helping name this flower.

**** I am pretty sure this is a Male Reed Bunting . They are about the same size as a sparrow and quite attractive birds. This was taken On Midsummers day 2018 in the trees that lead to the cliffs at RSPB Bempton in East Yorkshire

THANKS FOR YOUR VISITING BUT CAN I ASK YOU NOT TO FAVE AN IMAGE WITHOUT ALSO MAKING A COMMENT. MANY THANKS KEITH.

ANYONE MAKING MULTIPLE FAVES WITHOUT COMMENTS WILL SIMPLY BE BLOCKED

Another sure sign that spring is right around the corner is that the tree outside of where we live is just starting to show signs of its budding leaves. Taken on a cloudy day, this was snapped from a second floor balcony, shooting down toward the ground cover and sidewalk below, thus giving the background a bit of a different look to it.

Esch-sur-Sûre is located in NW Luxembourg and topped by its medieval castle (in ruins) . It is located on the river Sûre

I don't know what this Red-necked Grebe is transporting, it almost looks like a dirty net of some kind, but it ends up part of the grebe's nest. Makes sense!

Thought I'd give the ole 2X tele a try with the 600 and the new R5. I was curious to see how that combination works together and I think it looks great! What do you think?

If you be the cash

I'll be the rubber band

You be the match

I will be a fuse, boom

Painter, baby, you could be the muse

I'm the reporter, baby, you could be the news

'Cause you're the cigarette and I'm the smoker

We raise a bet 'cause you're the joker

Checked off, you are the chalk

And I can be the blackboard

You can be the talk

And I can be the walk

"Oeps....., I'm not sure if I have permission to stretch out and look around..... I'm so curious to see what is happening here.... you too....?", says the little hexagon.

If you are interested to see more, have a look at my tessellation album "Origami - Tessellation Progression".

Be sure to zoom in on this photo. I took this picture of the pond behind our house. The actual frame included the opposite shore and the water is reflecting the forest that rises above it. I noticed an unusual quality in the texture of the water and zoomed in to produce this photo. I hope you enjoy the final effect.

One thing for sure that Skateboarding will teach you two things?

That of symbolising a meaning of life, of how to keep one's balance and how to pick yourself up when you've fallen.

And of course, Skateboarding has everything for you to take the challenge with? - Like it changes the way you see the world: in the way you spend all day looking for ditches.

I spotted these cool Skateboarding dudes, riding around on the City centre streets of Birmingham and what a way of getting around, as long as you can keep your balance and stay on them, of course!

Still, it looks fun and an easy way of travelling through the streets these days, apart from now and them of making a trip to the Hospital, to fix-up your legs!

Not sure how this suddenly got an explore, but thank you. Before anyone feels the need to point it out it's a composite of two images.

This sure-footed white-breasted nuthatch almost ran me over as it raced down the tree trunk. Luckily, my camera lens was in the way😃

Sure seen allot of pelicans in Florida. Started to head for home and one of my crowns in my mouth came off. We made it just in GA and I finally found a dentist tha would see me in the am and hopefully they can just cement it back on.

Not sure how this crossing works. Also the cars were leaking their cargo of a white powder. Hope it is not toxic.

… sure requires dedication :-)

Not sure what type of bee this is or the plant it was on, but I did smile when I saw it's little leg as if rubbing it's aching back with all the work! Have a great weekend you lovely folks out there! HSoS

"Sure God's all powerful, but does he have lips? Whoa..."

Dear God, how have you been then?

I'm not fine, fuck pretending

All of this death your sending

Best throw some free heart mending

Invite you in my heart, then

When done, my sins forgiven?

This God of mine relaxes

World dies I still pay taxes

Can I be as my God am

Can you be as God am

Can I be as my God am

God of all my God am

So Lord, I see you grinnin

Must be grand always winning

How proud are you being able

To gather faith from fable

Can I be as my God am

Can you be as God am

Can I be as my God am

God of all my God am

God am

My God am

God am

God

All the respect I'm giving

Shared strength acquired by living

All blooming life you're feeding

Can't hide sick ones you're weeding

Can I be as my God am

Can you be as God am

Can I be as my God am

God of all my God am

God am

Macro photography is not my thing for sure. I never had the right gear to do it and to be honest when looking at other people's photo a landscape, a street photo or a portrait will catch my eye a lot more. However I respect how macro photography can reveal some mesmerizing details from things made either by nature or man while keeping the result very abstract. This would be my very first attempt in macro on a quite rainy fall day. I feel like everything clicked together for a nice result. The waterdrops from the mist, the light and obviously the fall colored backdrop.

Sure do miss these sprightly little gems right about now... hope they’re having the time of the lives down in the tropics.

I'm sure I'm stretching the truth when I say these small Screech owls were my friends. However, they took up residence in our Rhododendron tree-sized bush for most of the summer. Our extended family spent many days with our heads turned skyward, trying to catch a glimpse of their beautiful faces. My youngest grandsons and I even sang to them....a song about a wise old owl. How glorious to hear their little voices repeating the same song that I sang with my grandmother, mother and own now-grown children. Thank you, little owl buddies! You made this summer very special!

An interesting position this Bald Eagle takes in the air as if a bit curious about what it sees below, i.e. trying to decide what it's going to do next.

A beautiful high altitude waterfall in Sural, Pangi valley, Himachal Pradesh, India

Sure is a lot of dots up there !

I think I'm going north and now's the time to leave

The people there they say are good to strangers

And if I do my best and try to settle in

I'm sure I can be just like someone's neighbour

I am not sure what Kelsea was doing here but I am playing with PS action plug-ins. This is a water reflection action. Here is a link to where you can find it and many, many more.

Not sure if there are any secrets of not getting your camera wet in this location. I took many shots in this waterfall, and I could only pick two that I thought I could remove all the spray spots. And I finally have managed to clone out this two-year-old image recently because I was getting bored doing it.

I wasn't sure if I would get a clear shot of the castle from the top. I wondered if it might have been a drone shot I had seen before and not one taken from the top of the mountain that stands behind the castle. So I was on the third peak by the time I saw this view after a pretty arduous trek over the unbroken wilderness over the tops.

To the left is the estuary where the River Shiel flows out into the sea loch of Loch Moidart which then flows out into the Atlantic Ocean beyond. In the centre is the mid 13th century Castle Tioram on its own island (when the tide is in). Behind it is Eilean Shona, owned by Richard Branson's sister which has 11 luxury holiday rental cottages on it. eileanshona.com/ To the right of the castle is another island, the circular one called Riska. Above and beyond that on the far horizon you can see the tops of the Cuillin mountains in Skye.

Impressive view, eh? In my back yard! I decided I deserved a cold beer when I got home.

Hey, come to Scotland. It's only 16 deg C

Yeah sure thing , stab that dragon with your toothpick! XD At least he has some of that last hope in that katana.

I haven't used a dragon for quite a while now but finally dragging one of the beasties into a scene.

Special one here for Swagga's outfit for FGC!

Not sure what this is supposed to be... but I absolutely love parmesan. Shoutout to my lovely wife for the idea to try that.

My attempt at the "Macro Mondays" theme "Cheese".

Shot with a Noritsu "71-111 mm F 4.5-5.6" (enlarging) lens on a Canon EOS R5.

Sure, they're not traditional fall colors, but I like the blue skies, green leaves, magenta oleander, and yellow-headed verdin. All in all a nice splash of color.

Not sure on this one, maybe a juvenile Least ? Saw many Turns lol but only one like this ....
