The Supreme Court in America has been doing some evil sketchy things these past few days. They've reduced peoples' rights after possible police brutality if they weren't read their Miranda Rights. In the midst of a surge in gun violence across the country they've made it harder to enforce gun safety laws throughout the country and today they may be overturning Roe. In the midst of this, some states have already started the process to ban birth control, specifically at this time IUDs and the morning after pill. The extreme need to control a woman's body and give guns more rights than a woman in my country is terrifying. Meanwhile, the supreme court justices have been granted far greater protections after a couple of protests than Anita Hill or Christine Blasey Ford ever were.

The Supreme Court is the final court of appeal in the UK for civil cases, and for criminal cases from England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
It hears cases of the greatest public or constitutional importance affecting the whole population.
The Judges of the Supreme Court are appointed by the Queen on the advice of the Prime Minister. Boris will probably want them all replaced after the recent ruling!!!!!

Ruth Bader Ginsburg, only the second woman to serve on the United States Supreme Court and a legal pioneer for gender equality, died Friday, 18 September 2020, at 87.

Among the interesting architectural features of the Washington D.C Court Building are two, self-supporting, elliptical marble staircases. Whether Cass Gilbert, the building’s architect, chose to include them for practical reasons or simply for their visual beauty is not known.

I tried to avoid the cliché photo by aiming up over the statue to the pediment at the top of the building, above the inscription "Equal Justice Under Law". I like the appearance of the clouds which make it look as if they are streaming out of the Court Building.
I tried to make the building lean to the right, reflecting the opinions of the Court's recent decisions. "Equal Justice Under Law" hasn't been true for a long time, but it's a nice slogan.
