A neighbor recently gave birth, so I brought her dinner and wanted to include something sweet. I devoured these homemade chocolate chip lactation cookies after I had my son, so they were a perfect fit. They're just regular chocolate chip cookies made a bit more nutritious with whole wheat flour, flax seed, nutritional yeast, dark chocolate, and walnuts. They're supposed to aid in milk supply for breastfeeding (which didn't stop my family from devouring them too!).

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola in Kyiv. They discussed the situation at the front, defense support, plans of the Russian occupiers, Ukraine's European integration and the Global Peace Summit. The leaders made this announcement during a joint press conference.
The Head of State emphasized that now, 79 years after defeating Nazism, Europe has once again become a place of battle that decides the fate of many nations.
"And in this battle, life must prevail. Life must prevail over Russian FABs and KABs, Russian missiles, Russian assaults, and hatred that ruin the lives of millions of Ukrainians and see the lives of millions of Europeans as their target," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The President thanked Roberta Metsola for her consistent support of Ukraine and presented her with the Order of Merit of the first class. He reminded that the President of the European Parliament was one of the first world leaders to visit Ukraine when the Russian occupiers were still on the outskirts of Kyiv.
The parties also discussed the preparation of the Global Peace Summit to be held in Switzerland. Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the Russian dictator is trying to disrupt the Summit.
"That is why we need a crystal clear position of every state, every leader, every international organization regarding participation in the Global Peace Summit and support of our common peacebuilding efforts," the President said.
The Head of State emphasized that Ukraine has fulfilled all the necessary conditions for the adoption of the negotiating framework and the start of negotiations on the accession of our country to the European Union in June.
Roberta Metsola noted that her visit demonstrates the unwavering support for Ukraine and its place in the European family, and called on Europeans to step up their assistance.
"I am optimistic about the negotiating framework being adopted by the EU member states in June. The European Parliament will help Ukraine to move along the European path in all possible ways and supports all 10 points of the Ukrainian Peace Formula. We hope that the Peace Summit in Switzerland will yield practical results," the President of the European Parliament summarized.

We hope that others will be interested in our design and will be moved to follow our lead. We want to support the suppliers who made our space possible, and we'd like to encourage more people to follow their lead, too. Most of all, we wish to use this beautiful space as a forum for discussion about other, better ways to protect earth's environment and its capacity to provide for the needs and aspirations of current and future generations.

Piedras Blancas Light Station is located at Point Piedras Blancas, about 5.5 miles west by northwest of San Simeon, California. The first-order Fresnel lens at Piedras Blancas was first illuminated on February 15, 1875. The Piedras Blancas lighthouse was originally 100 feet high to the top of the ventilator ball. Earthquakes over the years damaged the structure. On December 31, 1948, final damage from an earthquake centered 6 miles off the point led to the decision to remove the upper three floors: the fourth landing, watch room, and lantern. Missing the beautiful ornate lantern, the truncated lighthouse now stands about 70 feet tall. The lens was moved and is on display in the nearby community of Cambria. The area is a Historic Park and Wildlife Refuge.
