The 79th Sustainment Support Command dedicated their headquarters building in memory of Sergeant Paul T. Nakamura on Saturday, June 21, 2014.
Sgt. Nakamura, an Army Reserve Soldier who was assigned to the 437th Medical Company (Ground Ambulance), March Air Reserve Base, Riverside California, was killed in action on June 19, 2003 in Al-Iskandariyah, Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. A Southern California native, Nakamura was a model Warrior-Citizen, recognized as a leader in his community.We are proud to have spent the day with his family and friends in honor to Sgt. Nakamura. Cafe au Chocolat began welcoming customers through its doors in Irongmonger Street in Stamford on Wednesday 30 July 2014.
SKDC's business support scheme helped new business owner Krystyna Szypryt with marketing and staffing advice and also looked at methods of recruitment.
The former Blockbuster video rental shop has been transformed and they hope the high standard of products will add something new to Stamford's long list of coffee shops.
The cafe offers its own blends of coffee as well as handmade crêpes and a wide range of specially-selected dark and milk chocolates you will not find in the supermarket.
Owner, Mrs Szypryt said: "I took voluntary redundancy from my previous job, as owning a coffee shop is something I've wanted to do since I was a teenager."

This is a new design for Grizzly Mountain Arts! Dave has crafted the beautiful 1 7/8 inch acorn whorl of this support spindle from poplar. Pyrography, burn etching, was used to create the details on the acorn's cap. The 11 1/2 inch long shaft was created from walnut and the weight of this spindle in 51 grams (1.8 ounces).

Virginia National Guard Soldiers and Airmen provide support to a COVID-19 community vaccination clinic hosted by the Virginia Department of Health and Federal Emergency Management Agency April 10, 2021, at the STEM Academy at Campostella, in Norfolk, Virginia. Throughout the day, VNG personnel helped administer vaccines and provided administrative and traffic management support.
