Golden hues, a masterpiece in whole,
Painted skies, a tranquil, fiery scroll.
Nature’s brushstroke, vivid and untold,
A fleeting wonder, a treasure of gold.
The sun sinks low, its journey near done,
Casting its glow on everyone.
Shadows lengthen, they softly creep,
As twilight lulls the world to sleep.
Mountains bask in the amber light,
Fields are kissed by the glow of night.
Rivers shimmer, their currents ablaze,
Reflecting the heavens in a fiery haze.
The trees stand still, their silhouettes clear,
Bathed in warmth as the end draws near.
Birdsong fades, replaced by calm,
A hush that feels like nature's psalm.
Golden hour, brief and rare,
A sacred gift for those who care.
To pause, to watch, to truly see,
The magic of life, so wild and free.
And as the sun slips out of view,
Night emerges, cloaked in dew.
But the memory lingers, the moment stays,
A radiant echo of golden days.

5:54 pm, the sun hangs low, glowing through the haze. Tree branches stretch across the frame, breaking up the soft orange light. There's a quiet cityscape behind it all—power lines, buildings, the usual urban touch. What I couldn't get to work with this shot when uploading to Flickr were the crushed blacks. Not the best, but I like the shot, so here it is.

An Elevated Escape into the Breezy Night
I was hanging out at People’s Park in the Sky in Tagaytay, soaking in the tropical vibe and refreshing cool weather that comes from being up high—even in summer. As I relaxed there, the sunset lit up the sky with bright oranges and yellows, and a steady breeze made the whole moment feel easy and natural. The scene was simple, with lush greenery framing the view perfectly, and it was just one of those wonderfully unpretentious moments.
Perched above the charming harbor of Peschici, this moment captures the glow of the Adriatic sunset and the radiant beauty of Michela. The golden light dances on the sea and on her skin — elegance, strength, and summer wrapped in one perfect frame.
Shot during one of those magical Italian evenings when time slows down and everything feels like a movie.

I’ve stood by the waterfront during the sunset hours and waited for a bird to fly across the Sun to give a beautiful moment for me to capture. After shooting close to 60+ photos, this one came out almost close to how I’ve imagined and I love it!

After days of staring at screens and chasing deadlines, I needed a reset. So, I grabbed my camera and made my way to the rocky beach, hoping the sunset would offer something worth capturing. As I set up my shot, the sky was already shifting—warm tones spilling over the water, the pier stretching out like a quiet path into the evening. The textured rocks in the foreground added depth, framing the scene just right. More than just a photo, this was a moment to breathe—to slow down and take in something real before heading back to the noise of work.
