Castle in Drzewica (view from our window) . Photo with x2 electronic teleconverter, so MFT focal length 171mm x2 = 342 mm (equivalent to FF - 684 mm).
Helios 44M-4 58mm f/2.0 - M42 mount with MFT adapter - which gives FF 116 mm focal length, the photo was taken at f / 2.0.
It was our usual walk, for which I took my camera and tripod, in the hope that I would find Sasanki. Unfortunately, this year, in the place where they grew, I did not find them - nothing is lost, maybe tomorrow in another place. My wife and I took a slightly different route than usual, behind the castle towards Zychorzyn i Rusinów. There, a small river Brzuśnia flows out of the forest (the right tributary of the Drzewiczka). There is usually a pool in front of the bridge and a small clearing next to it strewn with yellow spring flowers with butterflies bending over them. We went down there, and there were real wonders, in the comfort and warm spring sun. This is the first photo from here. In this case, focusing is the key to taking full advantage of this lens.
The new year is still hidden under a blanket of fog, we seem to float above it like in a balloon. With each new day, the fog will lift a little so that we can discover the surprises that life has in store for us....

Like many photographers before me, I try to find my reasons for photography close to where we live and rediscover them for myself. I believe that you should only photograph when you have a reason to do so - when something delights you, when you notice something that carries emotions and has a hidden meaning, carries a message - tells the story. Since Newton believed that people are self-taught and ignorant, there is basically no way other than self-learning skills. And thirdly, I come to the conclusion that the equipment I photograph is in the last place in terms of importance, it just needs to be able to register my idea for the scene I imagine - I mainly think about background blur, depth of field, lens light intensity, matrix size and noise level. Often handheld equipment - a mobile phone in our day - can be enough to achieve its goal, which I am trying to prove lately and which, to my surprise, is becoming true.
Each time brings with it a different vision of the same places and allows you to improve your skills.

It was our usual spring afternoon walk with my wife. We know that walking along the shore is always interesting, and that's probably why it's our favorite route. Many bird families have their residences by the Drzewiczki reservoir. This place is the beginning of our trail, which we can see all the days simply from the window of our house, then we have time only for ourselves.
