Christmas is less than a fortnight away and nature here in Ostwestfalen is like early Spring. We used Sunday afternoon for an extended hiking tour around home waters of the river Werre in the Löhne area.

Sorry I've not been posting much, I've just not had the time to get out with my camera. I did manage out at sunset last night and snapped this. I liked how everything appeared orange despite the fact that ot was bitterly cold.

We all enjoyed a wonderful sunset over the lake.

Lights last glow for the day at Montana's beautiful Seely Lake.

This sunset was unfortunately enhanced by wildfire smoke. May we have clearer skies this summer.

I was visiting Cleveland, and thought I'd go out for some night photos of the city. I was pleasantly surprised when I received a bonus treat in the form of a nice sunset!

Met a colorful sunset tonight. Set white balance a bit cold to get some dramatic color contrast.

Last spring, I went whit some friends to Durbuy ( Ardens, Belgium) to photograph some rare and beautifull butterflies. One of this butterflies was this wonderfull Chequered Skipper (Carterocephalus palaemon) with beautifull light and a nice background. Do you like it?

Some evenings we do strike gold, like here with some of the peaks of Glacier Park catching the setting sun. Perfect way to end a wonderful day.
