Yesterday afternoon, after the ultrasound scan, we went to Lyngby to get the cars brakes fixed. One of the wheels sang a tune close enough to the high C, that we decided to get it fixed. While waiting for the car, we went shopping for some babyboy clothes ;-) and celebrated the good news at the cafe.

Here is the view.

Its actually so good that you oughta treat yourself to the ;-) large view ´on black´

This made me think of Baz Luhrmann's inpirational song, Wear sunscreen. Some great proverbs in the vocals.

Scanned from a shot taken in 1997.

Observed on the National Mall in Washington DC

The fifth pack I shot with my Polaroid SLR 680 was a Black & Pink Duochrome pack from Polaroid Originals. Was slightly disappointed that the contrast wasn't stronger in the results, but I guess I'm also still learning the settings for those perfect results.

These six portraits were taken at my girlfriend's childhood home during easter, earlier this year.

Taken with Polaroid SLR 680 analog camera. Polaroid Originals 600 instant film, Black & Pink Duochrome edition, fresh from the store.

los momentos de mi vida que más frágil me he sentido han sido cuando me he sentado en la cocina de mi casa horas y horas esperando que los demás empujaran mi vida;

los momentos más felices de mi vida han sido cuando he cerrado esa puerta y me he largado me he cortado el pelo y he dejado de ser transcendental para con los demás

This is Scooby39's and my go at the collaboration challenge.

Obviously as Scooby is in Australia and I'm here in blighty we thought we'd play with the geography aspect of the song

I hope you like our little story of me shivering in blighty, looking at the weather where scooby lives and writing her a note to remind her to wear sunscreen. I think she did an absolutely terrific job and I love the final shot of hers.

It was an absolute pleasure to partner with Scooby, I had such good fun with such a lovely partner.

Thanks CY for the challenge, but most of all thanks to Scooby, my wonderful partner in crime!

Sun is shining, the weather is sweet, yeah

Make you wanna move your dancing feet now

To the rescue, here I am

Want you to know, yall, can you understand?

When the mornin gather the rainbow, yeah, yeah

Want you to know, Im a rainbow too now

To the rescue, here I am

Want you to know, yall, can you, can you, can you understand?

View On Black

This is a detail of a large sunscreen on a new elementary school in Toronto. It is a nice change from the horizontal or vertical slats that characterize so many exterior shading devices.

Madagascar sunscreen made of crushed avocado seed...on the woman, the duck is "au naturel"

Found this on Moloa'a Beach on the North Shore of Kaua'i one day.

A very special portrait, shot in the ultraviolet spectrum

(...the black color is sunscreen, it appears black in the UV spectrum, because the rays are absorbed. Therefore, we should use sunscreen in summer days where the UV-index is high. For this picture I used harmless "black light".)
