Sun rays seem to diverge from the tree canopy and cast beautiful shadows on a frosted field of grass on a winter morning.

One of those cases when lens flares are welcome into the frame - shot with a 15mm rectilinear manual focus lens, no lens hood.

The maw of the storm, burst apart by the sun victorious. Descending toward the water with a regal stride. A promise of hope for the coming sunset. I imagine myself on that dock. Sitting as my skin absorbs the warmth. The feel of a gentle breeze flowing through my hair. As the clouds of my worries wash away along the river.
