Sunday is my one day to treat myself to a delicious, flaky croissant. Where do I get my fresh croissant you ask?, well at McDonald's. They are baked on the premise as part of their McCafe lineup, and are truly amazing. Flaky, mealy, and buttery. A real treat!

A fine October Sunday afternoon is shaping up, as the Scenic Rail Dining train rolls through Richfield, Wisconsin & Southern's Milwaukee Sub, on it's return to Granville with another train of satisfied passengers. The SRD 10C would become the power for WSOR's business train until the WATCO takeover. The former Milwaukee Road E9 is now owned by the Friends of the 261 and has been returned to it's original Milwaukee number of 32A.

Hi dear Flickr friends of photography,

we made a kayak trip on the Lake Constance, today from Überlingen to Meersburg and back to our basic station. There is a lovely basic station in Überlingen where to meet lots of divers and kayak paddlers a little outside the town. I talked to the divers why this place is a special for them and I get an interesting answer. Only some meters from the spot there is a a steep wall that goes 35 meters into the depths. Really, that sounds interesting.

We had sailing weather and it was beautiful to have some wind in the back and to ride some waves. The water was clear and blue. We had a lot of sailors and windsurfers, but also kayak-paddlers and many SUP-Paddlers on the lake. It's a pleasure for me to see so many SUP-paddlers this year on the lake.
