It /sunset/ was the cooling hour, just when the rounded Red sun sinks down behind the azure hill, which then seems as if the whole earth is bounded, circling all nature, hush'd, and dim, and still, with the far mountain-crescent half surrounded on one side, and the deep sea calm and chill upon the other, and the rosy sky with one star sparkling through it like an eye.

You've gotta see the Large On Black.
So yesterday (1/12/08) I saw the sunset coming back from my Great Uncle's house in the middle of nowhere and virtually forced my father into stopping the car on the side of the road. This is what I got from that little endevour. I'd say it's worth it.
This is a 5 shot HDR merged in Photoshop, tonemapped in Photomatix 2.3.3 and finalized in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.
A sunset from a few nights ago.
I had to stand on my toilet and take this picture out of the bathroom window, but it was worth it. XD
I dedicate this photo to TMH www.flickr.com/photos/the_merciful_hate/, my crazy lil bro, who loves sunsets! Happy Birthday and may Allah always keep you safe!

It is so peaceful at sunset,
They show all dreams to be met
In it, memories are also held
There in your heart, your fears are quelled
As the sun dips low in the sky
It reminds you of all those times you flew high
And with those memories of soaring above,
You have the hope and strength to find new love
Because at that sunset you find peace
There, is where your fears all cease
For dreams you find your strength to fly
There, in that sunset sky.
