Me senté allÃ, y mi corazón parecÃa
he dejado mis huellas, y me llevaré su recuerdo.

Sunset over the sculpted badlands of Toadstool Geologic Park, Nebraska.

The most beautiful sunset I have ever seen on Mono Lake. The colours were amazing. So vivid and changing all the time. This was the last of the reds as the sun disappeared.
The lake has no sea outlet. Dissolved salts in the runoff remains in the lake and raise the water's pH levels and salt concentration. Tufa columns (limestone) are formed and are part of the interesting landscape of Mono Lake
