A view of the city of Chicago from the top of the Willis Tower at sunset. Its impressive at 103 floors up!
We spent yesterday meeting with family at the palliative care unit of one of Melbourne's hospitals. Our family member had had cancer for the last 2 years and was admitted to palliative care on Wednesday. He died peacefully, just before midnight yesterday.
GM was larger than life, drove big trucks, had a big moustache, a wife and 2 lovely children who are now grown up. Taken too soon.
R.I.P. Deliberate ICM with added birds!
Last week me and the little lady (Andrezza :) headed down to the bay to capture the sunset. It had been some time since we visited this spot. We forgot how photogenic it is. I caught her in a moment between photos just enjoying the beauty of the evening.

Sometimes, when you have no ideas or your time is limited, you can always do some good old sunset photos! :)

The only time I real got to take a picture of the sun was when I already was on the aiport heading back home to Barcelona. I took the camera, took some stairs and ran towards a terrace where I got this photo just before the sun was gone.
Ex #18 FP Explore thanks for all the comments :))
There was a particularly nice sunset last night. This was taken not far from home, just nipped out after dinner.

A timestack of last night's sunset. I think this sunset made a particularly interesting stack because there were different types of clouds moving different ways - I'll put together a video of the frames to post probably tomorrow, so you can see what made this photo.
Update: Here's the cumulative stacking video www.flickr.com/photos/jesspictures/19618693469/in/datepos...
And here's the classic time-lapse video: www.flickr.com/photos/jesspictures/19617674559/in/datepos...
I took photos at 6 second intervals with my Sony Nex 5T, using the timelapse app. Then, I stacked them together on the computer using StarStax.
