This image titled Sunset View at Beach, was taken on the View from my travel with Vacation

A cozy sunset in Boston, silhouetting the skyline. I'm biased, because it is my home, but I feel that the Boston skyline is the right balance of picturesque, but not overcrowded. You can pick out the individual buildings, and what role they play in the city as a whole.

What is interesting though is how much darker Polaroid made it seem, compared to reality! It was brighter than this, but I guess the camera exposed for the sky. I'm happy though, because I like the silhouetted skyline.

Olympic Peninsula sunset

And so I will conclude the past Sunday's adventures with Anita with this Sunset over the Germany Valley. I have posted photos of this valley before but always from the opposite end. This is farther north. We actually crossed this valley twice, once going to West Virginia, looping up and around that state and then coming home. From this point home we still had an easy 3 hour drive! :) All worth it for sure! Today we are much tamer as we head off to Richmond to join up with other members of our camera club and visit the beautiful Lewis Ginter festival of lights. Hope you all have a wonderful day and are enjoying some great adventures of your own!

Sunset in Plutonia

My Interplanetary Memories

Interplanetary Travel

I was starting to relax and enjoy the moment in front of a magnificent sunset view on the planet Plutonia. I remember feeling very lucky when I took this photo. Actually, I was lucky. I was the first person to be chosen for interplanetary travel on planet Earth. And this made me feel lucky and privileged. I saw the depths of space that no human had ever seen before. I have set foot on planets suitable for life, where no human has ever set foot before. I witnessed unique landscapes of space that no human had ever seen. I became the first human and even the first earth creature to be able to get this far from the earth. I say Earth creature, because a cat sent into space before me was the first creature to travel to the furthest point from Earth and return. I went hundreds of times further than that cat went in space. And that made me unique. The cat that was sent into space was able to return to earth. The space cat must still be living on earth. Definitely a lucky cat. To be selected for a space mission among thousands of cats and to be able to successfully complete this mission and return to planet earth. I didn't know whether it was a luckier situation to be selected for a space mission or to be able to return to Earth. I guess it's not a very lucky situation unless you can go back to the world.

I still have an infinite distance to go. I'm tired and weary. My excitement is more than less than my initial excitement. My thoughts are quite different from when I first embarked on this space journey. At first, my thoughts were busy with the exploration of new planets that I was going to do, while my current thoughts are purely about myself. I keep asking myself. I keep arguing with myself about the thought of returning to Earth. I still don't know what to decide.

View On Black

A grassy meadow shot during golden hour. The tree in the foreground blocks the searing sun as it sets low on the horizon.

Needless to say I was quite enraptured by this spectacle and it was sometime before I started taking shots. This is Mt Kinner Kailash,19850ft high. In the foreground are the famous but leafless royal red apple trees of Sangla. Have a look in blackbox.

The sunsets through the clouds lighting up the sky and water with beautiful colours !

A July sunset looking over one of my favourite spots. This is where the rivers Trent and Ouse join and form the mighty River Humber. The flatland here in the very north west of Lincolnshire has been flooded to aid birdlife and wild species to thrive. There's also a stunning vantage point as the land rises very steeply with views into the four Yorkshire counties and believe it or not, over to the Peak District in Derbyshire.
