雪はなく、沼は結氷していました。
気候相手ですから思ったようには撮れないですね。
春まで氷は解けないでしょう。
Ice stained lightly in the morning sun
There was no snow, the swamp was frozen.
Because I am a climate partner I can not take as I thought.
Ice will not melt until the spring.

I had to stop on my way to work to take a picture of this magnificent morning. I wish I had more mornings like this :-)
＜斜里岳＞北海道の知床半島にある火山。標高は1,547m。斜里岳道立自然公園に属し、日本百名山に選定されています。
＜摩周湖＞
日本では1番、世界ではバイカル湖についで2番目に透明度の高い湖です。急激に深くなっていること（最大水深： 211.5 m）と、その透明度から青以外の光の反射が少なく、よく晴れた日の湖面の色は「摩周ブルー」と呼ばれています。
A volcano on the Shiretoko Peninsula in Hokkaido. The altitude is 1,547m. It belongs to Mt. Shari Hokkaido Natural Park.
It is the most transparent lake in Japan and the second most transparent lake in the world after Lake Baikal. Due to its rapid depth (maximum water depth: 211.5 m) and its transparency, there is little reflection of light other than blue, and the color of the lake surface on a clear day is called "Mashu Blue".

Although I was absent for a while,
Thank you again this year.
I waited timing clear night through the few days. Because, It reason is the lake freezes by "radiation cooling phenomenon".
It happins twice a year. Sunrize thru the coaling tower. Once on OCT 14 th and in the winter on Feb 26. I'm a day late and had a cloud at the Horizon, so this worked out just fine. The temp is 06 out wind chill of -18. and LPJ04 didn't make it back to W.C. last as well.
