My genial self in the light of day

-- not scary! (I hope.)

The sun was setting low in the sky and I couldn't help but get behind some leaves and shoot through them.

I have to admit that I'm very bad at putting on sun block at Lollapalooza.

I went the entire first day without it.

My sister insisted on making me wear it on the third day. This is her holding up the block she brought (which was technically illegal but they let her bring it in anyway).

Also pictured is her friend Lanny.

Wel, hynod chwil yn steddfota yn MAESB. Obviously I hadn't put any sunblock on that week!

at the last rest stop, #5, in Huron, Ohio. Love the sporty looking sunblock on my face; I'm such an idiot. But it was really sunny and I needed to reapply it at each stop. It certainly worked. The temps were in the mid-seventies, which was the best riding weather I think we've ever had for any of the 8 or 9 MS150s I've done. Phil and Stacey and I rode together for 2 legs, between rest stops 3 and 4 and 5 after lunch, but the last 10 miles of the ride they got ahead of me and I never saw them again til the end :-( I just couldn't keep up with them. I know they were never very far ahead of me, but it was just enough to keep them out of sight.

Lucy's (LEFT) wearing a vintage malibu Francie which is actually too big, I had to clip it. Cherry Bing is wearing vintage skipper/

It's possible that I overdid the sunblock here.
