During summer in the northern part of the world, the sun is up all night long – the phenomenon is best known as midnight sun.
Cosmos blooms in sunshine and breeze...taken at the Bendigo Botanical Gardens.

Digging back into my files, I rediscovered this image from last summer. By late summer, the Wild Teasel wild flowers had turned into seed pods and were everywhere around this park in the east end of Windsor, Ontario. The golden light of the setting sun helped to define the shape of these interesting wild flowers.
