Some Photoshop fun for Sliders Sunday.
Snapped an iphoner of this subway staircase a few years ago with thoughts of doing something dramatic with it, then it promptly disappeared into that avalanche of shots that I suspect most of us have created over time.
Somehow this one raised its little digital hand yesterday so I took hold of it, pulled it from the pile and slid my way into today's post. HSS everyone!

One of the many reasons why I chose this camera was Olympus' notoriety for its ability to render colors.
As can be seen, it's much maligned dynamic range is wonderful.
It's micro 4:3 size and flip screen are other features which are perfect for indiscreet street shooting. However it appears that I need to practice my disappearing ability.
Standing out in the open with camera hand stretched over my head is not in the tactical manual for being invisible in the street.
first image processed in Capture One. There is still plenty of room for improvement however I really like the workflow in that piece of software.
and there are clearly too many pictures of subway stairs and escalators. but I could not resist, this was easy to process... :-)
