I had so much fun with friends last sunday, some blokes were drifting with their Subaru's and BMW's on an icy parking place..! Inside an Impreza doing fast donuts
Like and see more photos of sunday!
It had rained a lot on the days prior to the rally, turning this small creek passage into a major water crossing...
Here, the Subaru Impreza STi N11 driven by Thomas Leger and François Dortu is seen losing a front bumper cover during the crossing.
The storm was ending and the sun was breaking through the clouds :) So pretty.
This has been such a great welcome home. I was so sad out in LA without any rain, but now it's making up for it because it has rained some 4 of the 7 days I've been here :D
I also got to see some gorgeous lightning while I was stuck in traffic :] I could watch this all day.

Shot this when we were wrapping up the photo shoot and caught a nice reflection on the car. The colored version has the side quite overexposed, but I believe this yields great contrast in sepia. I think this not only captured the image, but also the atmosphere and the nice weather of that fine day.

Subaru saw the success of the Nissan Verita (a retro-style version of the March) and decided to launch the Casa Blanca, based on the locally-assembled Impreza LX Wagon. It was produced for two years by Ta Ching Subaru until Ta Ching filed for bankruptcy, which would mean the end of local production of Subaru cars in Taiwan.

Shelsley Walsh, Worcestershire, England, United Kingdom, on Saturday 3rd June 2023.
About the photograph.
This is the driver Neil Lacey from Brierley Hill, in West Midlands, England, racing uphill in his Subaru Impreza. I have no idea which version of the Impreza, if any.
Note the vehicle registration plate on the front of the car that reads as SY08 EYR. SY imply that it was registered in Inverness, Scotland, so maybe the car was bought from there. The number 08 is the age of the car, it states that the car was registered between March to August of 2008.
I have no idea what Black Country Racing is, the search engine result often lists a cycling club, and sometimes it may list an engine parts company called BC Racing.
About Shelsley Walsh.
Shelsley Walsh is a motorsports speed hill climb track in Worcestershire, and organised by the Midland Automobile Club (MAC).
It is one of the oldest motorsports event, having started in 1905, and held events every year, except for the two World Wars.
It is also a notably steep course by today’s hill climb standards, rising 328ft / 100m over its 1000 yards / 914 metres length.
The track and course do not belong to MAC, it is leased from the local landowner. The original lease ran for 99 years, and in 2005, a new lease was signed for the next 99 years.

This is a shot I captured at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2018 rally course during the morning rally. I really liked the colour and contrast of this car especially as it was caught in the sun amongst a dark woodland scene.

A 2003 second generation Impreza as a Wagon with gold rims referencing the WRX trims. The Impreza Plus is a lot less exciting, but nevertheless the Japanese station wagon looked good for the photo.
