The Toyota 86 and the Subaru BRZ are 2+2 sports cars jointly developed by Toyota and Subaru, manufactured at Subaru's Gunma assembly plant since 2012 and is currently in its second generation. The 2+2 fastback coupé has a naturally aspirated boxer engine, front-engined, rear-wheel-drive configuration, 53/47 front/rear weight balance and low centre of gravity; it was inspired by Toyota's earlier AE86, a small, light, front-engine/rear-drive Corolla variant widely popular for Showroom Stock, Group A, Group N, Rally, Club and drift racing. For the first-generation model, Sold under three different brands associated with its creators: Toyota (Toyota 86 in Asia, South Africa and Australia, Toyota GT86 in Europe, both names in New Zealand, and Toyota FT86 in Jamaica), Subaru (Subaru BRZ) and Scion (Scion FR-S for the United States and Canada). The car was first unveiled at the under its various guises in 2011. With the first production model shown at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show

The 86's engine, known by the Toyota code 4U-GSE and Subaru code FA20, is a naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine that uses Subaru's horizontally opposed boxer engine layout that runs on 98 RON (premium unleaded) fuel. Toyota added their D-4S injection system which uses both direct and port injection. and produces 200bhp.The transmission is six speed manual or automatic.

As part of the 86's low-weight design, the car utilizes an aluminium hood, a solid roof, and a trunk as opposed to a hatchback with the engine sitting as far back as is possible.

The second-generation BRZ debuted on 18 November 2020 and went on sale in the US in late 2021, the Toyota version was introduced later on 5 April 2021, named GR86.

Hahaha... just the box only! The local BL seller always like to troll me... :D He recycles boxes and stuff, this is the first time he used this HW id car box.... Previously he had used Lego sets boxes. But seriously, this id car box is really nice! It has a magnetic clasp to close.... feels so cool! Haha. I am tempted to buy now... alas, gotta save money...

The GT86 is a great looking sports car, in my opinion.
