Thursday April 13! Join Emory's Rose Library and Emory Visual Arts from 6:30-8:30 p.m. for Emory’s legendary Art, Punk, DIY Fest, a night of music and hands-on art activities in celebration of the library’s Atlanta punk collection. The event is happening at the Emory Visual Arts Building at 700 Peavine Creek Dr., Atlanta, GA 30322, just across the street from home plate at Chappell Park, the school baseball diamond. Free and open to the public.

This year’s event features a live set by Ladrones, who hail from San Juan, Puerto Rico by way of Atlanta and play screaming, wailing garage punk ‘n’ roll. Art activities include silkscreening t-shirts with Emory Visual Arts, making buttons with Emory TechLab, creating punk sock puppets with The Bakery and “skate bling” with Julie and Raymondo as well as learning graffiti stylewriting with Antar Fierce and MadClout. And don’t forget our famous tower of free pizza!

There is no parking at the Visual Arts Building except for a couple of handicap spaces.

This means we have to park in the Peavine Parking Desk located at 29 Eagle Row, Atlanta, 30322 and walk 3/10ths of a mile to the Fest location at 700 Peavine Creek Drive.

Folks can be dropped off at the event before you park!
