The Church of our Lady of Peace in Ronda shows the influence of Islamic style on a Christian church in Andalusia. The term mudejar was originally used for the Muslims that lived in areas conquered by the Christians, staying after the conquest. Nowadays the Islamic influences that were absorbed into Christian architectural practices on the Iberian Peninsula come under the general umbrella term of Mudejar art. The application of decorative Islamic motifs and patterning to Christian styles of architecture as seen here is an example of this blend of art and architecture which is part of Spain's rich cultural heritage. Brother Diego José de Cádiz (in the foreground) was a popular preacher throughout the region of Andalusia whose remains are kept in this church in Ronda where he died.

Galleria Sciarra is a covered gallery in Rome, designed by architect Giulio De Angelis and built between 1885 and 1888 on the initiative of Prince Maffeo Barberini-Colonna di Sciarra. Decorated by Giuseppe Cellini, it celebrates the role of women in bourgeois society of the late 1800s.The structure features Liberty style with iron and glass elements.

Odunpazarı District, Eskişehir, Turkey
Odunpazarı (literally "firewood market" in Turkish), is a historic district of Eskişehir City in the Central Anatolia region of Turkey. The district is one of the initial settlements of Ottomans in western Anatolia. Most of the Ottoman style houses in the district were restored during the last two decades and some converted into boutique hotels.
“Odunpazari Historical Urban Site” is a significant example to cities established totally by the Turks within Anatolia. It’s an urban workshop with the best preserved examples of traditional Turkish architecture and an open-air museum where the structure of the traditional Turkish neighborhood with its entire pattern is maintained.
Odunpazarı Modern Museum is a cross-cultural platform where modern and contemporary art from Turkey and abroad is exhibited with a universal perspective. Located in the historical, Ottoman-era neighborhood of Odunpazarı in Eskişehir, the OMM building was designed by Kengo Kuma and Associates (KKAA), the world-renowned architectural office. The museum was opened in September 2019.
As photographed here, the two styles of architecture, Ottoman and modern, are now combined in the same district with a beautiful harmony.
