Isis Parenting was created to respond to the unique needs of expecting parents and new families. When Isis needed a new name (among other elements) that recognized the company’s support of expecting and new parents from pregnancy to pre-school, they turned to Corey McPherson Nash.

The goal was to build an inspirational brand synonymous with prepared parenting. We wanted to show a brand evolution that clearly allows the evaluation of new channels and markets with a solidified message. An extensive Guide to Style was created. This was important since the staff (entirely student-run) wanted a design that could be followed for years to come. With the changeover in students each semester, the Guide to Style was seen as essential to ensuring continuity.

Re-branding campaign, print, billboards, direct mail

This branding initiative included refinement of the existing WSSU logo and creation and implementation of a university-wide branding style guide. The finalized campaign was recognized with several Service Industry Advertising Awards.

After the success of the initial branding initiative, a targeted recruitment campaign was developed for the WSSU Evening-Weekend College. The campaign included newspaper ads, local radio spots and a micro-site related to on-campus open-house events. Overall enrollment in the university went up 17 percent as a direct result of both campaigns.
