Are la students participate in a day of styling to perfect their on camera look!

Their first three full-length albums are examples of the death/doom style, although the latter two incorporated some melodic and gothic elements. However, with the release of the albums Icon (1993) and Draconian Times (1995), Paradise Lost also became known as pioneers of the gothic metal subgenre. In accordance with the change in musical approach, vocalist Nick Holmes changed his singing style. He used a death grunt on the band's first three albums, but on Icon refined his voice to have a cleaner tone. Later (circa 1997), the band began experimenting with electronic styles but after four albums reverted again to gothic metal.

Their line-up has remained stable for such a long-standing heavy metal band, consisting of singer Nick Holmes, guitarists Greg Mackintosh and Aaron Aedy, and bassist Steve Edmondson. Holmes and Mackintosh are the principal composers, with almost all of the band's songs credited to them. During the years, the band has only changed drummers, with original member Matthew Archer replaced in 1994 by ex-Marshall Law drummer Lee Morris In March 2004, Morris left the band. Jeff Singer took Morris' place and has played on all subsequent releases, though he was not listed as a permanent band member until the release of the single "The Enemy" in 2007. In a recent video interview, Mackintosh and Holmes revealed that Singer had already auditioned for the band when Archer left, but they chose Morris instead because "[Singer] had a pink drumkit"

I see you! I knew you are here! Come out and let's play.

We celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied and multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.

We are guided by three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, our longing to capture in print, that which is beautiful, the constant search for the one picture, and constant barrage of new equipment and style of photography. These passions, like great winds, have blown us across the globe in search of the one and we do understand the one we do look for might be this picture right here for someone else out there.

We want to thank you for your interest in our work and thanks for visiting our work on Flickr, we do appreciate you and the contributions you make in furthering our interest in photography and on social media in general.

It seems a few people were confused about which styles are available at the moment so i've just made a visual reference for you guys. (These are the shorter cuts. There is a separate image for the longer cuts)

Long styles:

Asleep: Short cut with two long loose tails that you can braid, twist (like I do in most of the images) turn into buns, tie etc.

Sooki: Similar to Asleep but only the one side so its like a side ponytail

Celeste: A bob cut with two longer tails that are positioned lower and further to the back.

Long: Standard long cut can be ordered with or without sweepy side bangs (no blunt cut bangs right now)

Lionhead: A mix of sweepback and a long cut

Sweepback: Hairline that sweeps back that can be clipped, tied up or left loose.

Short Styles:

These are more expensive than the long styles as they have to be very full to get good styling flexibility.

Roscoe: Asymmetrical style with no parting visible from the front. Can be ordered with or without the braid.

Asymmetrical: Asymmetrical cut with a fixed parting.

Short: Standard short cut.

Taco: Similar to the short cut but has longer layers and can be styled in a way where the hair layers hug the face more.

A couple of people asked if the base colours can be ordered and the answer is Yes! But only for honey right now. I have added a honey only option to the store just now c:

Kellan, I think this is my second Kellan I'm pretty sure it is, I really like this Kellan her outfit is really cool love the striped knee socks so awesome, I like the pattern of the orange skirt and the kitty is adorable too and I like the twist hair.

Spotted this at Uniqlo recently. They have a new line of women undergarments that also provides support and enhances one’s body lines. There’s currently only 1 type of camisole, but there are 2 versions for their shorts.

Hopefully the "new" effect is an old, torn, and well worn piece of sheet music :DDD

This is one of the boats built by a teenaged Swede as part of an organization in Stockholm that fosters teenagers in building sailboats. They spend from 1000 to 2000 hours building their boats.

The leader of the organization has an old Swedish Navy boat that he's turned into a giant workshop. The students come in on weekends and holidays to work on their boats.

This boat is just about ready for it's maiden voyage. The mast and other accessories will be added.

All the students are readying their boat for a three week voyage in the Stockholm archipelago. Fanastic!

A group of adults will be accompanying them in motor boats filled with supplies.

BTW, the students build everything. They even make any metal parts needed. They cut and stitch the sail. They do not make the ropes. The plans are provided by the coach so they don't design it either. However, they may finish it anyway they please so you'll see classic wood grain to artistic paint jobs.

The tickets have arrived.
