「大學學位只是職場入場券」，一張名校畢業證書只代表持有人的學術能力，但不代表事業一帆風順。家長及學生往往以大學排名、學科的熱門程度、前景或工資作為首要考慮條件，而疏忽了自我評估這個重要的一環。最近熱播的電視劇令不少學生夢想成為劇中的機師，家長及學生除需要考慮那些大學提供有關課程及入學要求外，亦不能忽視子女的興趣、能力和性格是否適合做飛機師。如學生對機械操作完全没有興趣，那麼航空學課程對他來說未必是「好」的選擇。古往開來，要成功除要有毅力、志向、勇於嘗試、能克服挫折及解決困難的特質外，當中最根本的元素是要熱愛自己的工作，對工作有興趣、有熱誠才會做得好。興趣與性格有密切的關聯，因此，個人性格是需要與職業崗位吻合才會成功。
若學生未有明確目標；又或者已有心儀學科，但不肯定是否適合自己，就不要錯過AEC將於9月28日舉行的「英澳紐升學大探索」。是次活動將由註冊心理輔導專員免費為學生分析性格，以心理學角度建議合適的課程範疇及職業。同場亦設有熱門課程諮詢區，由各英澳紐著名院校代表講解各課程資料；更設有職業資料庫，由資深人力資源顧問及教育顧問分析就業市場動向、海外專科課程(如藥劑學、醫學、護理學等) 的在港註冊概況、就業前景及薪酬數據等，務求讓學生全面掌握未來發展方向。

澳洲寄宿中學教育質素卓越出眾，不但擁有優良師資，而且教育制度亦十分完善。學生修畢第12班後，即參與其就讀省份的公開試，並以該成績申請大學。澳洲大學在多個學科範疇在世界排名榜上佔一席位，加上近期澳元匯率向下，令整體費用大減，學生及家長應把握時機儘快報讀。

AEC本着男女學習方法有差異的理念，挑選一系列澳洲優質「男子」及「女子」寄宿中學，讓家長可一次過搜羅各校資料，進而與孩子一起踏上申請頂尖學校的旅程。

香港目前只有港大、中大設置醫學院，雖然入學門檻極高，仍吸引無數尖子報讀；可惜學額有限，未能滿足社會實際需要。事實上，本港不少醫生及牙醫診均是畢業自英國或澳洲的大學；而AEC每年亦協助了不少學生成功入讀海外醫學院。
英澳內外全科醫學學士(MBBS)及牙科學課程為期5至7年不等，主要分「Undergraduate Entry」及「Graduate Entry」兩個類型。「Undergraduate Entry」是傳統的課程模式，為期5-6年，申請人須先以HKDSE或A-Level成績作大學申請。英國的MBBS及牙科學課程是UCAS最早截止申請的課程，申請限期為入學年前一年的10月中旬；澳洲同樣的課程在每年2月份開課，申請限期為前一年的10月或11月(不同大學設有不同的申請限期)。因此今屆HKDSE考生雖已錯過9月入讀英國有關課程，但他們仍可申請於澳洲入學。至於「Graduate Entry」課程為期4年，申請人必須先完成最少為期3年的學士課程才具入學基本資格。
